Chicken Broccoli Pasta Casserole

Chicken Broccoli Pasta Casserole
Cook rotini noodles and set aside
Brown chopped up green onion, vidalia onion or any kind of onion and 2 garlic cloves in olive oil.
I cleaned the white meat of a rotisserie chicken off the bone...ends up about 2 cups
Start layering casserole starting with 3 c of pasta, then 2 c of chicken, put browned onion and garlic on top of that. Sprinkle with black pepper. I put 1 can of sliced water chestnuts on top of that.
I put one 10 oz bag of frozen broccoli on top of that. Mix 1 can of cream of chicken soup with 1/2 can of milk mixed together and poured on top of all the ingredients.
Grate 2 c of Colby Jack cheese or preferred cheese of your choice and spread on top. 1 can of French Fried Onion Rings on top of everything ....bake at 350 for 30 minutes...wonderful I thought... made plenty to feed 4 people. I like to garnish with chopped green onion stems and parsley for flavor and extra nutrients. ENJOY !!
