So cool. I love it, Todd! I always enjoy watching you work and picking up whatever tips and tricks I can. I've learned a great deal from you. (Enjoying your preaching from years past as well.)

The engraving turned out really nice; very cool gadget. The whole project is coming together very nicely & I've enjoyed watching these. I adore the goats already finding their shelter. Please keep these videos coming even after the build is complete; it is very gratifying to see the animals enjoy their new place. I should also note that even though I'm not a farmer, you inspired me to build a couple of birdhouses for the backyard. Now the birds have a safe warm spot for the winter and nesting for spring. Thanks for the videos & may God continue to bless you and your family.

@Kevin K. That was so nice of you to think of the birds in your area and make some houses for them.🐥🐦🦜

Love this setting, we put stall mats on coop floor, will last forever, adds insulation and helps prevent bumble foot issues. Stall mats comes in 3/4 " thick 4 x 6 ' but we got some 3' x 4 ' at TSC

Just food for thought. I installed a rain barrel catchment system in my chicken coop. My coop has a second story where I keep the rain barrel and gravity send the water down to my bucket ( I got the bucket from farmer Brad). I don’t have to deal with the water anymore. You might want to do the same. Just something to think about.

She really likes her new goat cubby...seems like she might want it a little bit longer to be further from the opening. A project for next year...maybe?

They’re goats they will probably eat the straw also. It’s amazing what they will eat, no joke.

I wonder how well it'd engrave on burnt wood. You'd probably have to do a light burning around the design, but heavier around the edges. I bet that'd look real good

Nice coop, you are getting along nicely with this build. May I ask how you keep the goats out of the chicken food? I have goats, chickens, ducks, geese and pigs so far. Got to keep them in separate pens or the goats will eat the chick feed. Been wracking my brain to figure out how to keep goats and pigs in the same fenced in pen but also keep the feed separated. Thanks.

i really want to try my hand at a lovely wee shelter like this but then i would have to get goats...NO, Bad Sandra! do not get more animals (i dont really have the room for goats) especially when my horse comes home i think the engravings are very cool and the coop is coming along, shame about the buckling of the wood.
