This is a simple tour of my latest creation. I built this coop from scratch and is based off of the famous Chez Poulet Chicken Coop by Heather Bullard with my spin on the design. This chicken coop has been serving us well with no complaints. I will continue to improve on it and post the updates as I go. That's the most beautiful Chicken Coop I have ever seen! I feel like I could live in there with them!! Those are the most well taken care of chickens I have ever seen they're probably going to give you tons of eggs when they start laying because they got to be very happy!! *Hi! Great coop! We converted a large dirt-floor horse stall in our hundred year old barn a couple years ago; we do a deep litter with a combination of 2 parts straw ( **deam.design/ylum** ) to 1 part pine shavings.*

Bill’s Coop- For obvious reasons, this is one of my personal favorites. rb.gy/px4rks This coop features a suspended upper house with a full range below, a ramp for easy entrance to the upper level. This design has my personal touches and I have had some clients throw wheels on it after building for easy portability.

Love the cooling system...Thought about even adding it for our dogs...We're moving back to OK and it gets super hot there...so this is a wonderful and an inexpensive idea that I believe my hubby would approve of without putting an A/C in a dog house for them...Plus he's a gadget guy and would love the challenge of making his babies more comfy.

How do you keep rain off of your a/c fan ? Also I hope you clean out your pen and the sleeping are of it can promote disease. I love the work you did on the pen. I think the a/c is a great idea. How long does ice last ?

So your air conditioner is just a cooler with ice with a fan blowing into it. The the PVC pipe goes into the coop? So the fan is strong enough to blow through that PVC pipe? Pretty cool idea. I think I might make one if it really is that easy...!

I see you have holes in the top for ventilation but in the summer that would not be enough. Make a re-enforced screen for the main doors. That way wouldn't need AC.

Looks awesome! The only critique I have is that you stated the nesting area was used for quarantine. I know you referred to letting the little ones get acquainted & grow up, but some non-chicken folks might misunderstand. Quarantine is a word used most often to describe new arrival separation, to ensure no diseases appear in the first month or so. Definitely airborne, dustborne diseases could pass into your coop via the chicken wire. So, just wanted to mention that, so new chicken owners to confuse the importance of "quarantining" their new additions for disease observation.

4-6 max I’d guess🤔= cleanliness, heat, roaming when have to be inside i.e. storms, air flow. Remember U have to clean it👍🏻

9 was pushing it. 6 comfortably but you must also give them a large run in addition to what I have shown in the video. Watch my later vids on these hens.
