Green Sofrito
Green Bell Pepper

Red onion

1/2 stick salted butter
8 oz pepper jack cheese
4 oz Monterey Jack cheese
12 oz Velveeta white queso
11/2 cups whole milk
1 small can hatch green chiles

The French were known to have the strongest advanced army at the time and the Mexicans fought and won. It's important to American because at the time Mexico was in debt and sold land to USA such as California, new Mexico and other states. Had the French won, these states would have needed to be acquired from the French most likely by fighting. But since Mexico won, USA easily bought these lands from Mexico and these states became California, arizona, texas etc...That's my understanding
