Morkupine Porcupine is the best character in anything, period. While I don't like this movie, I'll admit it had some great elements and real potential. Also, I don't know if you know this, but there's a whole video game based on the Adam West sci fi version of Chicken Little called Ace in Action, and it's honestly kind of a hidden gem.

Dude, having aliens in a Chicken Little movie is the same as having Christmas, pirates, Easter, UFOs and magical crystals that gain eternal youth in the Ice Age franchise: It is extremely out-of-place and makes absolutely no sense!

Glad there’s a video out there saying it’s not the worst. Not that I don’t understand the criticisms, they’re all valid. To me though I just find this movie funny at its worst, I can think of plenty of other Disney movies I can’t say the same for.

I pretty much feel the same way. The stuff people criticize it for I agree with, but when you’ve sat through a bunch of more recent animated movies that are extremely bland and even more studio mandated by comparison, you start to appreciate the mid animated movies from the past more lol

I thought it was okay. Not super memorable, I barely thought about it after it was over, but it kept me entertained while I was watching it. Also the video game "Ace in Action" was pretty fun.

Two words. Morkubine Porcupine. As much as I don’t like Chicken Little… …it’s a film that admittedly had a lot of potential and does have several things that work. It’s certainly one fascinating film.

I make a rewrite of the film. I would had be a mix between the scrapped original storyline and the final version. In this alternative version, Chicken Little 🐓🥚 would suffer from anxiety and paranoia and caused several false alarms and panic outbreaks in his hometown, just like he originally would have suffer when was originally a girl. One day, Chicken Little 🐓🥚 was siting under a tree 🌳🌲 when something shaped like a stop sign 🛑 falls from the sky 🌌 and hits Chicken Little 🐓🥚 on his head, which caused him to have another panic attack and ring the bell 🛎️ of Oakey Oaks warning everyone that the "sky is falling". Foxy Loxy 🦊 (who in this alternative version would have be a adult, a male and the film's main antagonist) would have use this as a trap to devour alive some of the inhabitants of Oakey Oaks saying to hide in his house 🏠🏡, where he succefully devour alive part of the anthropomorphic animals, among them sadly was Chicken Little's mother, Chloe Cluck, who is also killed and devoured alive by the evil fox 🦊 😟😢😞😭💔. After everyone calms down and Chicken Little 🐓🥚 tries to find the piece from the sky 🌌 that hitted on his head, but he can't. The inhabitants who luckily survived from being devoured by Foxy 🦊 would be extremely angry and furious 😤😠😡🤬🔥 at Buck Cluck (Chicken Little's father), especially Mayor Turkey Lurkey 🦃, who complains about Chicken Little's constant false alarms and panic attacks and says that his son caused the death of some inhabitants of the town (including his own mother 😟😢😞😭💔) and that Buck needs to do something urgently to stop his son's anxiety and paranoia. Buck also would had get extremely angry and furious 😤😠😡🤬🔥 at Chicken Little 🐓🥚 for not only had caused another false alarm, but also caused his own mother's death 😟😢😞😭💔 (Foxy Loxy 🦊 would get arrested by police 🚓🚔 as they would discover his crimes) and since them he become extremely toxic and strained towards his own son and scolds him saying that he never should believe in everything he hear and jump to conclusions before investigating first and one day he would to be couragerous and brave 🦸, even when one day would look like the world 🌍🌎🌏 is coming to end, much to Chicken Little's big sadness and depression (especially to have losted his mother 😟😢😞😭💔). One year after the tragedy, Buck and Chicken Little 🐓🥚 would still be strained towards each other and Chicken Little 🐓🥚 is now extremely depressed and sad since his mother's death 😟😢😞😭💔⚰️💐. His only friends would not be only Abby Mallard 🦆🍞🥚, Runt Of The Litter 🐖🐷🐽 and Fish Out Of Water 🐟🐠🐡, but also Morkubine Porcupine 🦔, who always comforts and supports him to make him happy 😀. Chicken Little 🐓🥚 and his friends would hear from the local news that strange and unexplicable events have occurred in Oakey Oaks and this makes them confused and curious 🧐🤔❓. Shortly after, they would find and met Kirby and Chicken Little 🐓 🥚 decides to take care of him. But Chicken Little 🐓🥚 is still very depressed and only wants his father's love and care back 😟😢😞😭💔. So he decides to join his school's baseball ⚾🥎🏏🏟️ team as his father was a great and skilled baseball ⚾🥎🏏🏟️ player when he was younger and makes him pride of him again. After being trained and supported by his friends (and Kirby), the baseball ⚾🥎🏏🏟️ tornament day finally arrives. But Chicken Little 🐓🥚 becomes extremely anxious and nervous as he starts to sweat 💧 and shake desesperately and wished his mother there with him to calm him down as she always did when she was alive. But after some support and encouragement from his friends (especially Abby 🦆🍞🥚), he succefully wan the tornament and makes everyone extremely happy and pride of him (especially his father, who realize that he was a jerk to his own son during one entire year 😤😠😡🤬🔥) and in their way home, Buck would apologize to his son for his terrible fatherhood towards him and the two would hug each other firmly. Chicken Little 🐓🥚 would also show Kirby to Buck and explains that he and his friends found him and have no idea that what he is or where he came from, but he still wants to take care and protect him. Buck remembers Chicken Little 🐓🥚 about the rumors about strange and unexplicable events in Oakey Oaks and starts to believe that Kirby could had something about this. Later that night 🌕🌙🌛🌜🌃🌆, another piece from the sky 🌌 would fall on Chicken Little's head and he will find out that actually is a technologic painel which can camouflage itself (which explains why Chicken Little can't finded last time this happened) and he would call his father and friends to see. Buck would also apologize to his son for not believe him last time, but he still say that this is not a piece from the sky 🌌. But from SOMETHING that is in the sky 🌌 but they can't see 🧐🤔❓. Fish 🐟🐠🐡 would press one of the painel's bottons and would fly to Chicken Little's bedroom window in direction of the hole in the sky 🌌 where the painel came from. But one his bright green colar would be stuck outside and Chicken Little 🐓🥚, his father and friends would desesperately chase it until arrive in the same baseball ⚾🥎🏏🏟️ camp where the baseball ⚾🥎🏏🏟️ tournament happened that same day. Strange things start to happen around them until a UFO 🛸 appears in the sky 🌌 and lands on the camp. Two aliens 👽 cames out and leave. The group enters the UFO 🛸 to find Fish 🐟🐠🐡 and they quickly find him alive and well, much to their relief. However, when they were leaving, they would discove a room there is a huge paper with many different planets risked with Xs over it and marking Earth 🌍🌎🌏 its next victim 😳🤯😱! They get desesperated and tries to getaway, only to came face-to-face with the two aliens 👽 and here starts a insane chase in a cornfield 🌽. They see Oakey Oaks' bell 🛎️ and go towards there to ring the bell 🛎️ and warn the town about the aliens 👽. But when Chicken Little 🐓🥚 was about the ring the bell 🛎️, he briefily has a flashback back to the last time he ringed the ball and his mother's tragic death 😟😢😞😭💔⚰️💐 and has another panic attack 😰😰😰. But he quickly calms himself down and rings the ball 🛎️, alerting everyone in the town. They arrive to see the aliens 👽 entering back to their UFO 🛸 and leaving Earth 🌏🌍🌎 due they hating the noise of the bell 🛎️ ringing. The local news films the aliens 👽 and their UFO 🛸 and shows in the TV 📺 news about Chicken Little 🐓🥚 being a hero for scaring the aliens 👽 away and rescuing their planet 🌏🌍🌎. But Kirby (who was sleeping 😴 in Chicken Little's house 🏠🏡, wakes up, go to the streets and see the aliens 👽 going away) would cry 😭 for some reason. But in the next day, a alien invasion 👽🛸 starts in Oakey Oaks and Kirby would reveal that he actually is a baby alien 👽 and two of the aliens 👽 invading Earth 🌏🌍🌎 are his parents! Chicken Little 🐓🥚, his father and friends would work together to give Kirby back to his parents and rescue their planet, but at the same time, they also would have to rescue him from Foxy Loxy 🦊 and his wolf 🐺 henchmen who planned to capture and eat Kirby too. After defeating the wolf 🐺 minions with his new baseball ⚾🥎🏏🏟️ skills, Chicken Little 🐓🥚 and Foxy Loxy 🦊 would have a epic final battle in the top of the building where the UFO 🛸 of Kirby's parents are and Chicken Little 🐓🥚 had rescued by his father and defeated Foxy 🦊 . They return Kirby to his parents and explain that they only find him abandoned and taked care of him. Kirby's parents (Melvin and Tina) would realize their mistake and apologize to them for the invasion and thanks Chicken Little 🐓🥚 for taking care and protecting their son. Buck also would parabenize his son for finally had become brave and faced his biggest and worst fears (foxes 🦊 and wolves 🐺) and rescued Earth 🌏🌍🌎. The ghost 👻 of Chicken Little's late mother would appear from the Heaven 👼😇 to visit her husband and son, much to their surprise and happiness to her. Buck and Chicken Little 🐓🥚 would say how much they miss her 😟😢😞😭💔⚰️💐 and she says that she also misses they both and promise to be their angel guardian 👼😇 forever. She says goodbye to them (who would be crying a lot 😭😭😭) and goes back to Heaven 👼😇. Everyone there would be crying 😭 to see Chloe again even after her death 😟😢😞😭💔⚰️💐 and parabenize Chicken Little 🐓🥚 for hi heroism and bravery and proclams him the hero 🦸 of Oakey Oaks. Chicken Little 🐓🥚 and Abby 🦆🍞🥚 also would become a romantic couple and the aliens 👽 would say goodbye to them and leave (Kirby would say goodbye to Chicken Little 🐓🥚 before leaving with his parents 😇😇😇❤️❤️❤️). Foxy 🦊 and his wolf 🐺 henchmen would be arrested for their crimes 🚔🚓 and the film ends here 👍👌👏❤️💋. What do you think? Do you like it this version of the film??? This movie sucks. It is extremely mean-spirited, harsh, confusing and inconsistent. The original storyline about Chicken Little being a little girl who suffers from anxiety and paranoia was a lot better and would have worked it.

5:02 that’s one of the main reasons why I love this movie: It’s the opposite of what a normal Disney society is, instead of everyone being a happy go lucky joyful person who see the main character as the greatest person on Earth, the people in this movie are jerks who see the main character as a complete loco, and I know I might get some hate for enjoying the mean spiritedness in this film, but I find it to be funny cause its does the opposite of what Disney characters are known for, and its a nice example to show kids that society isn’t always perfect, and that are sometimes mean people out there.

I loved the movie a crazy amount as a little kid, and as i got older it was, meh, i didnt hate it really but i didnt like it haha. I like the animation for what it is, the aliens, i like Chicken Little and his friends, and the art style still looks fun to me i love cartoony stuff.

I rewatched it last year. I noticed so many problems in it, it is the perfect movie for a beginner movie critic to pick apart. However, my nostalgic ties to growing up with it makes me unable to wholeheartedly hate this film

Dude, this movie is TERRIBLE! It's extremely mean-spirited, harsh, poorly-written, poorly-executed and inconsistent. All the characters (except Abby Mallard, Runt Of The Litter, Fish Out Of Water and Morkubine Porcupine) are bullies and jerks towards Chicken Little ALL BECAUSE ONE SINGLE MISTAKE FROM THE PAST!!! Even making a THEATRICAL FEATURE FILM ABOUT THE INCIDENTE!!! Besides, as I already said, the film is also very inconsistent, because in the 1st half, the film is a father-son drama that failed miserably as Buck is a TERRIBLE father to Chicken Little and only showed him pride after Chicken Little won the baseball tournament, and in the 2nd half, the film suddenly turns into a science fiction adventure involving aliens invading Earth. This makes the film very inconsistent and confusing. Parant-child relationships, baseball and especially ALIENS have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the Henny Penny fable. The fable is about never believing in everything your hear and jumping to conclusions without investigating first. This was executed perfectly in the 1943 short film. The scrapped original storyline about Chicken Little being a girl who suffers from anxiety and paranoia and caused several panic outbreaks in her hometown was much better and would have worked as it would have been more serious, dramatic, tragic, emotional, touching, heartwarming and even dark and scary instead of annoying, mean-spirited, unfunny and boring as we saw in the final version. But unfortunately Disney rewrote the film's plot to cash in on the "Fractured Fairy Tale" trend popularized by DreamWorks' Shrek franchise, but failed miserably. Way to go Disney! (I'm being sarcastic). I hope one day Disney make a reboot film about Chicken Little and using the scrapped original storyline from the 2005 film.
