Brine overnight and when you are ready to fry pat your chicken dry and commence the coating.
Leaving chicken at room temp before cooking helps with cook time.
Leaving the butter chunky in our batter leaves it buttery when it is cooked in our waffle iron. ( little bits of love when you bite into it)
