Watching on Thursday here in the UK. What a total delight to see you both looking so well - but take care of that sunburn Ian!! Aloe Vera is a miracle worker but you don't want burns on top of burns. OMG, your meal looked amazing - kudos to you Mandy for working with few utensils/tools - and a lot of ingenuity. The garlic bread - a triumph! And salsa into the tomato sauce - genius. That's the sign of a real cook - the ability to improvise is a gift. Stay safe both of you and many thanks for including us in your holiday. x

@@BeddyEatsFood if it's a bit humid over there, as well as very sunny, that can happen as a combination of sunburn, heat and your pores sweating. Yup, we even have them on our legs! If possible, try not to let the blisters burst as they are actually keeping any outside air or otherwise borne infection away from what could be an open sore if opened up. If it's worrying you - go to a local Farmacia/chemist as they can prescribe so much more than we can buy over the counter in the UK. Perhaps even some gauze dressings and micro pore tape for protection if they do burst would be useful. Take care guys - been there and got the T-shirt prove it. x

That chicken, you could take a photo of the back of the packet. Type it in when you get home and then google translate to see what ingredients were in it. I was only thinking white shirt, tomato sauce oh my God something is going to happen here 🤣🤣 It is surprising when you have to improvise what you can come up. Then end up with something really tasty. It makes the holiday special. Hope the sunburn gets better soon 😕😕

Actually I have been doing a bit of a look round. Apparently there is a seasoning called 'Canarian Mojo seasoning'. Saw it on ebay. Plus it shows the ingredients on the back of the packet in English. Not sure if this is anything like you had. x

If you dampened that baguette under the tap then wrapped it in foil and stuck it in the oven it would come out nice and warm and as fresh as if you’d just bought it - works for all sorts of crusty bread.

I think you are doing brilliantly for such limited equipment, spag looks lovely. I have been trying to reply on your reply on another message but KZbin won't let me. Holland and Barrett. for the salt pipe. They use Himalayan salt and it helps to dry your chest out taking away moisture that causes issues. Happy hols xxx......
