Hi! Since everyone's sharing their experience, I'll do it too Day 1(Wednesday)- I see a water kinda filled rash on my right palm. Extreme headache since the past few days and mild fever (99-100°). Day 2 (Thursday)- I woke up in the morning and saw numerous rashes on my stomach and chest. The water filled rash on my palm growing much bigger. Slept all day due to tiredness and headache. Little to no itching. Day 3 (friday)- A LOT more rashes all over my face, arms, legs, chest, stomach, etc have appeared. Especially my face and stomach region is filled with rashes. It's itching a lot and I feel like I can't handle it anymore. I'm using neem leaves to stop the itching and it's not helping much. I could only sleep for 1.5 hours at night. I can't explain how irritated I am. Day 4 (Saturday)- I think I got rashes INSIDE my throat since I can't even swallow my own saliva. It's so painful I can't even describe it. I feel so pathetic looking at all the scars on my body and face fearing it to be permanent scars. It's still very very itchy I wanna kms

don't take ibuprofen and don't scratch your spots, they will only scar if you scratch them. the "rashes" inside ur throat are something i experienced too, they are not rashes, just a symptom that always occurs on day 4, for example i got the rashes on sunday and it happened on wednesday, the sore throat will go away if you drink ice cold drinks and get enough rest, get better soon!

Day 1: it feels like a life accomplishment Imao a few spots Day 2: OMG NO I WANT IT TO GO! I felt like I was going to pass out in the morning, I have so many more spots all over my body and face. Day 1: Quite sick and general feeling of illness, no rashes Day 2: Fever, headaches, muscle weakness and rashes appear. They were about 8 and some were very big blisters on my back and groin Day 3: Fever and headache still going. Rashes explode into the hundreds on my back and chest Day 4: Fever and headache clearing. Day 1 : extreme fatigue , diarrhea , loss of appetite and fever Day 2 : extreme fatigue , fever, loss of appetite and sore throat with 3-4 rashes on my arms Day 3 : still the same with increased number in rashes up to 20 also experiencing itchiness Day 4 : fever is reduced but still tired and experiencing anorexia(loss of appetite) plus insomnia and the rashes have increased in number and in itchiness , lastly but not least diarrhea is back again. Day 5 : tiredness and fever are almost gone , no more itchiness no more insomnia but sore throat is still there plus back pain Day 6 : fever and tiredness are gone Rashes are beginning to turn black and become hard , appetite is slightly better And today is day 7 : rashes are almost completely black and hard , appetite is better

From my childhood I hated this disease sm Now my most important exams are knocking at the door and I got chicken pox 🙂 On the Day - 1 ( Friday ) I realised mild fever and a lil bit of headache. At night new baby rashes over my body On Day -2 I can't move my body. I slept the whole morning because of extreme headache and back pain. Couldn't able to study. At night I can't sleep + I felt itching in my leg after a few seconds I saw a rash filled with water. And I realised I got chicken pox. May Allah save me from the pain Day 3 blisters spreading all over the back & stomach. It's painful . Fever, body ache is the same. Appetite is terrible. Day - 4 : it's painful its so painful just woke and saw my face full of blisters can't tell you how sad I'm today. I couldn't sleep tonight. Day 5 : my whole body is still very itchy but better than last night. However, I was in laying in bed the whole day with an extreme headache Day 6 I feel a bit better today ( I'll update every day)

When I had chicken pox during elementary school, I felt fine other than just constant itching that became more frequent. I was in class the day that it started, and the itching that became more frequent got so bad I was glad when recess came around because I had to go off somewhere and really scratch . I was wearing a green knit sweater That day, I'll never forget I got up against the wall just outside of our classroom, sat down and my plan was to use the roughness of that sweater to give myself a good scratch against the wall. My teacher saw what was occurring and she interrupted my plan. She looked kind of puzzled, walked over, leaned me over and looked down the back of my shirt and gasped. She ran off I think toward the office and then a few moments later I was taken to the sick room. At some point I recall being told I had chickenpox, but I didn't know what it was. I was taken home by my dad and put to bed. I remember mom having to clean my back repeatedly and apply calamine lotion. I don't recall how many days I was out of school, but I cleared up at some point. I think my back was the only. I don't recall how many days I was out of school, but I cleared up at some point. They say you get shingles later in life, but I don't know if everyone gets it after chicken pox. Years ago, I knew someone who did get it, and he had some prescribed cream to treat it . Day 0 : After returning from school I had huge chills , no fever , I sat under a blanket all day. Day 1 : I got a slight fever and was weak and had big chills , but until now I didn't notice that I had blisters! Day 2 : I felt even worse , when my mother noticed that I had some blisters we thought it was acne (as I am 16 years old and never had acne before) Day 3 : Still fever , when comparing the blisters with acne and chicken pox and the fact that I have a fever I finally connected the dots and realized that I have chicken pox. More blisters appeared Day 4 : At night I had a very high fever and could barely move any part of my body. More blisters appeared on my legs and back. Day 5 : After I woke up I had a lot of blisters on practically every part of my body, my fever was almost gone, I had a very big sore throat that I could hardly swallow anything and no appetite. Day 6 : Fewer new blisters , some are starting to hurt. I have gotten rid of the fever completely , still my throat hurts a lot. So far , no blisters have disappeared from me. I hope to get rid of some part of the blisters later this week. I will try to continue to update these days. I would like to add that compared to what others say and what people have the biggest problem with - itching - the problem of itching almost does not affect me. Sometimes something will itch in there , but it is not a problem and I can easily withstand it. - Maybe it's due to the fact that previously I had the chickenpox vaccine - yes I had the vaccine, and I still got infected , cool right?

Just got chicken pox for the first time...yesterday I was very lightheaded, sore, weary, and tired, and overrall just felt very unwell. This morning the bumps finally showed up though--in my case, it kind of looks like just pimples/acne, some filled with water and some just red spots. A few on my face and a decent amount spread across my shoulders, chest, back, and general torso. Oh, and my lympnodes around my ears, jaw, and neck, are swollen, adding to the unwell feeling even more 🥲we just got finished moving, with a million boxes left to deal with, and this week is also finals for my school. I am 11 years old and I too suffer with chicken pox. Not a long time has passed since my younger brother was infected. Then we found out that someone in our building was suffering with it too. Maybe they are the reason for my brother's illness 🤔. After his chicken pox was healed, I got it at the same time with my cousin. He got it too. And now if this wasn't enough my mother too got it. I also found out that someone in my school and a friend of mine is suffering with it too 😌. My whole face is ruined and I even look like a real chicken 🐔. I can't even sleep because of the number of chicken pox blisters on my whole face and scalp. Apart from this I am also suffering from shortness of breathing and intense weakness. I see people here too are suffering with it so please be fine🙏. I was itching so bad one horrible Friday night at my late grandmother's house when I was ten and my mom was contacted. I had to go home and lay down on the couch so my mom could have one look at me and tell my dad that I had chicken pox. I was out for a whole week from school.

I have chicken pox and my exams are just starting lol, currently on day 2. Surprisingly I don't have any fever or headache, I feel less energetic than usual though and my chest has a lot of really itchy rashes. I'm trying my best not to itch them, I'll go to a pharmacy tomorrow to at least get something that'll prevent itching hopefully. Wish me good luck cause I don't think I'll be able to sleep at night, right now I can say that I prefer this than going to school though, I bet I'll regret saying that when headache n fever come in.

I had chicken pox at the start of this year, it wasn't really itchy to me but i had TOUSENDS of them and i hated it, but i'm happy that i got rid of them as a child, and if you had them or if you are having them as a child, you should be happy, my mom had them at the age of 35 and almost died

There is something known as shinngles( cluster of small painful blisters) which appears due to reactivation of the virus(VZV lives for several years in our nerves after chickenpox has cleared off). The pain lasts for many days after the disappearance of blisters(post herpetic neuralgia; doc being pregabalin and gabapentin). Shingles is more commmon in elderly individuals and in those with a weakended immune system. Shingrix is approved and recommended in individuals over and above 50y to prevent shingles!

Day 1: small blisters start to form at 4 am in morning. Went to doctor. Chicken pox confirmed. The blisters spread to the whole body. Very uncomfortable night for me. I couldn't sleep because of intense itching, I don't want to itch because it will form scar. This blisters are rapidly multiplying. The worst part on day 1 was the itching. I cried because of the severe itching & told my brother to tie my hands because i scratched my blisters violently in my sleep. It's literal hell for me. Day 2: i take bath with baking soda in water. And apply thin layer of calamine lotion after bath. I finished one bottle of calamine lotion. My entire scalp is full of blisters. The urge to fight itching is intense. I hate this feeling of itching. I told my brother to get me cetrizine for the itching.

You're doing the right thing by trying not to scratch, as difficult as it is, to prevent scarring. The baking soda baths and calamine lotion can help soothe the skin, and taking cetirizine might ease the itching a bit. It’s important to stay hydrated, rest as much as possible, and keep your doctor informed about your symptoms. Hang in there-this will pass, even though it feels like hell right now. You're stronger than you think, and I hope you start feeling better soon.

@pushistick. Hang in there! Chickenpox can be super uncomfortable, but with good care, you can minimize scarring. Avoid scratching the blisters (even though it’s tough!) and keep them clean-this helps prevent marks. Once you’re fully healed, you can look into treatments for any lingering spots, but most fade with time, especially at your age. Take it day by day, and wishing you a speedy recovery! 🌟

I'm in my 3rd day in.. You can't really do anything about it. After 7-10 days it'll go away. I have it all over my lips and I can't miss school... I will have to deal with it.. But I hope you are getting better. Also, if it's not gone from 7-10 days, you might have to go to a hospital, and if you have problems with the throat you might have to take some ibuprofen.
