Listen man I remember watching the show in Bristol and as you telling his story about the race I remember seeing everything they caught a lot of stuff you’re talking about on camera and showed a lot of this I could just tell you that this is the kind of stuff that legends are made from and this is how it happens until the day I die watching that episode knowing everything that you guys went through to get that car down the road the door flying off the barons giving out I do remember hearing boosted’s say that stupid rule I believe it was on the show but for some reason I remember having that same feeling like what the fuck who says they’re like why is there even that to talk about I just remember it being crazy to me but I can tell you this was the shine of the 405 although it was at the track it wasn’t on the street I don’t care what anybody says that day everything That you thought was going wrong was actually putting everything into order you thought the stars and moons was all out of alignment but they was getting in The right places to make all that happen like doc docs job was the Lou’s docs job was to lose that race so that you can go on the actual drivers meeting where you had to re-draw the chips if you would’ve got 16th you would’ve never had enough time to change the whole rear out of the car after making your first pass you need it all them cars stack behind you so you can make the pass and put the car together and have enough time to go back out second round it was absolutely the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen you guys do and the day I die I would show that to my kids and say that right there that’s exactly what this shit is all about that victory It’s not about the money or anything else it’s about all you guys doing and just pushing forward and getting that shit done and at the end of the day the 405 came out on top and that’s the shit legends are bread from that’s the prime of the entire relationship that I have as a fan watching you guys listening to you guys and being a part of I’m telling you I could not tell anybody or refer to a better story or just triumph if I had to explain to my children or anybody about why we do this how come we’re out there why do we risk it all it’s about that that determination on the baddest bitch on the planet today all the other shit with the golf carts and oh my God the dude with the tattoo on his belly that’s a fucking classic that shit has got me twisted up I’m in Band-Aids right now just trying to think of this guy with the two packs of life tattoo across his belly this shit could not be written by Quentin Tarantino like this is real and you guys live that not as bad ass just everything about the whole thing even the stuff you say Now on the podcast that we didn’t know anything about because it was in your day not something that they filmed or things that we got to see that shit was real and I’ll never forget it and it wasn’t even my day it was yours and you only people are going to talk about that shit till the rain nothing to talk about no more that’s the Gory thank God for drag racing high-octane breathing gas methanol nitrous Snorting small blocks big blocks you name it Thank you Jesus!!!!
