So sorry to hear that your Father passed away, Jackie. May he rest in peace. I lost my Father 39 years ago, yet to this day I wish he was here to talk to. You and Chief really didn’t have to explain anything to us but talking about it probably helped. Much respect to Justin for being there for you and condolences to you and wishing you well.

My dad passed in 1999, it was a shock at the time for a 24 year old but it's just something you learn to deal with. As far back as my memory goes I remember being in the garage with him. I didn't realize at the time but I learned a lot from him. Hold on to your great memories and cherish the time you shared.

It’s Very clear how much these two love each other and I truly think a reality show on their life would be a massive success, they may not want to do that sort of thing anymore , but if they did it would be an excellent show that would be an instant hit, but they would they have to give up some privacy and they may prefer that and it’s totally understandable.

Jackie, I'm very sorry to hear about your loss and the turmoil that always comes after a death. I know how you feel about sentimental value of things because I'm the same. Chiefs mentioning a wrench that was marked from shorting on a hot wire really touched me because I have a 3/4" Snap-On wrench with that exact memory. I've had these tools almost 50 years. Being over 70 years of age, I've witnessed many times the disappointments in family members that you've had to endure. But something no-one else can screw with or take away is your memories of and with your Dad. I hope your heart heals soon and you continue to make future memories without the pains of the past. Good Luck, and know you're in the hearts and prayers of many across our country. Be safe, and Hammer Down, Girl!!!

Jackie I'm sorry to hear about your dad's passing. I lost my dad in 1992 and he didn't have a will so everything that he had went to my mother. He died suddenly so there was no time to spend with him near the end. Mother gave my brother and I what she felt daddy would want us to have. The only thing that was questioned, was who took the second tool box of Snapp on tools from his work place. Like your dads personnel items that tool back was never found. You will miss him, but you will remember all the good times you spent with him, even thought you don't have the special items to remember him by, the good memories are stored in your brain, not in the things that you don't have. My brother and I live on different sides of the U.S. but we still communicate. Things wear out, get lost, and disappear, but your memories are always yours to keep. Like Big Chief said to all of us, get what you want done with your stuff written down, and appoint someone you trust to see that it is done like you want it.

Trust me when I say I feel for you guys. I went through the same thing. One of the hardest parts is knowing that you sat with family and set in stone what you want, need and love from the person that you lost to not only maintain connection with that person and to help with the healing but to see the greed in those same people just turn around and do the complete opposite and leave you with a pittance of things that you just have to be happy with knowing, that is something that they touched or kept with them is truly heart breaking. Just know that it broke your father's heart as well. Hold his memory tight in your heart and know that the good lord will heal your soul.

From the sound of this your father passed away from cancer, im so sorry your family has to go through this very sad time. My father-in-law was doing chemo and the doctor said he was responding well, two weeks later they said that it had exploded and its all over. They wanted to keep him in the hospital and he said I'm going home, I would rather die in my own home. Less than two weeks after that he passed. My wife and I were just happy we were able to spend every second of his life taking care of him. Prayers for you guys.

Thanks for being real. Best wishes to both of you and your families! The loss of a loved one never gets easier, you just try to control yourself better over time when the emotions come. Sometime that is easier said than done for sure..... I need to go get my affairs in order.

Jackie and Chief, im so sorry for your loss. Sending prayers to you and your family Jackie.Jackie I'm so sorry for your loss. My prayers for you and your sister. It's so sad that people act so disrespectful. It would be awesome for your sister to drive his car. Just remember you have the one thing no one can take from you, the great memories. Chief, much respect to you for being there for Jackie and her sister. God bless both of you. P.S. your end made me cry.
