Chief of the General Staff in northern Gaza

Yesterday (Tuesday), the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Herzi Halevi, held a situational assessment in the Gaza Strip with the Commanding Officer of the Southern Command, MG Yaron Finkelman, the Commanding Officer of the 162nd Division, BG Itzik Cohen, and additional commanders.

Herzi Halevi is a true commandant, a true warrior: He had traveled to the area were IDF engeniers commands had been killed after a RPG had been fired against them and quoted: "We came here to lern how it had occured and to avoid the same mistake in future" That was really great and proof of giant humildity and constrain from the death of his soldiers and temporally sons.
