Welcome to the lair of the Metal Goddesses and the Wolf-Pack that follows them with total devotion. I saw AC/DC LIVE in the 70's, 80' and 90's and these women are just as dynamic despite being petite models who dress in white and wear high heels (that they perform in for the entire concert) so that they can be seen on stage. Formed in 2016 to bring more European sounds to J/Metal (thus the songs are in English albeit with an accent) these insanely talented women have taken the glory of 80's metal and mixed it with the masters and blended it with their own sound to give you a unique sound. Midori (super model on the ESP) and Miyako (tallest at 5'2" on the Dean) are complete opposites but are the most dynamic lead duo performing today especially LIVE. The vocalist Asami at 5' belts out thunder despite the music behind her and is an ex-ballerina student who comes from a R&B/Jazz/Soul background and never sang metal till she joined this band. The backbone as always is Miho/bass (founder) and 4' 9" Haruna on drums that drive this Lamborghini metal band from start to finish. Check out these other songs: Scream for Me LIVE (kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5TanKOenN-BnZo) the M & M guitar clinic is in full session. Winds of Transylvania (Anime Theme to VLADLOVE) (kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqSoZYiYlLWdnpo) strap in as this one will blow you across the room. Empty Daydream LIVE (kzbin.info/www/bejne/oonLkKiDgp5noLc) Piano intro with bluesy vocals and then the hammer falls as usual.

Bass(Miho) and Drummer (Haruna) I suggest Destrose songs, "Maze" or "Rin". The singer for Lovebites (Asami), she is such a sweetie pie. Saw a video of her talking. Her speaking voice is so soft and gentle. The two guitar players for Lovebites are Midori (on left) and Miyako (on right) ... also if you want to see Miyako prior to Lovebites. Look for the group Sonic Lover Reckless "Phoenix"... if you do look at this and like the vocalist (Aya Kamiki) you can find her in her regular group Uroboros. BTW, welcome to the Rabbit hole :-)

1:50 "These girls are SLAYIN' IT right now" is a good choice of words since bassist/leader/founder Miho wrote the song you mention later, Thunder Vengeance, after watching Slayer from side-of-stage at Download Festival 2019! Considering your "about" that emphasizes "self-belief, faith and trust in yourself" I recommend "LOVEBITES - ''Rising'' LIVE 2020 with lyrics" kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5DNo5uwr8ioiLc from this same show which has lyrics (embedded) that affirm such a perspective very clearly. There is a reason why you've missed out on Japanese bands, no one was really listening to them until about 4-6 years ago apart from a small niche group of people. The Japanese music rock/metal scene is not that big in Japan it's self, in fact you could say it's now bigger in the west than it is in Japan. It all started to get big in the west can be put down to one Japanese band, a band that you either love or hate, that band is Babtmetal. They were a small band that took a gamble and went to the west and played a few festivals and were so different from what was going on in the west, and so good, that they started to become a popular band overseas, something that caught the Japanese music press by surprise, so much so that they started talking about them so much they became big in Japan. Then a few newer bands in Japan saw what had happened and started to come over to the west, all because Babymetal had found a crowd that were hungry for music, and one that was bigger than the one at home. Yhose bands were Band Maid and Lovebites, Lovebites played in the UK a year after forming and then the year after started the festivals in Europe. Nemophila were going to do the same thing, they were planing on playing in the west within their 1st year but the current problems put a stop to that. So yes it's not surprising that you've not heard these bands before, because if you were not looking for it then they are easy to miss as they are only just starting to get into the mainstream metal circuit in the west. Oh! and Japan has a lot of bands just waiting to be found. One that has stuck it's head out once and enjoyed it and want to do it again are a band that call themselves a technical melodic speed metal band, I know Japanese band that calls it's self technical amongst al the technical stuff your hearing from Japan :) Unlucky Mopheus - Angreifer kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXiuiJqDaa6CncU

Good Reaction❤️❤️❤️ Next songs Raise Some Hell, Hammer Of Wrath, Break The Wall, Scream For Me, watch their crazy solos'♪♪♪[Live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020]
@hiawatha.g3 жыл бұрын
Great reaction, knew they would blow your mind. Honestly, they are technically better than AC/DC, but that's a good benchmark. You could have asked a bunch of comic-book artists to design a band of alien superheroes, disguised as beautiful women who use music to battle darkness, and they could not have come up with this. Other reviewers have described them as angels sent to save us, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. They have themselves said in interviews that part of their mission is to save heavy metal from darkness and obscurity. Some background: They were formed from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief metalhead and soul of the band) recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" "pocket nuke"); they went and found the two guitarists, Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands, and the whole group found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time. Miho and Miyako compose a lot of their music, but Midori has also been getting into the act, and Asami writes a lot of the lyrics. They have only been around for just shy of 5 years. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Slayer etc. and as you can see they pretty much aced it all. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and it seems clear they’re taking it to another level. This is one of their "starter" songs for reactors, and rightly so--you get a good sense of the band. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash, and almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel. Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The interplay makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. (As another reactor said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band.") Miyako is also a concert-level classical pianist, and some of their songs feature her on the piano. If you want to see what they do with the piano, watch “Swan Song” WITH the prelude, which is Chopin’s “Revolutionary Etude” kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGKlmqioiM2keK8 Miyako wrote “Swan Song” using elements from several classical pieces including the Etude. You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!

One thing though, in the case of Swan Song, you've got to play it together with preceding truck which is Shopin Revolutionary Etude. Those two make one set. You'll find out the reason when you hear them. Enjoy.

Charles, you star! I feel you on the memory issues, my friend haha! I really do appreciate this a lot, man. Every single one of these bands is on the list and I'll be DEFINITELY having a long extensive look into their music. Thank you, my brother! I appreciate you. Stay awesome, man!

Check out Lovebites - Break The Wall live next for pure Thrash Metal. Also, unlike any other newcomers in this decade, Lovebites is the only metal band that brought back classic heavy metal scene to life. Much respect from a fellow metalhead.

Thanks for checking this amazing band out! I'd also recommend checking out Swan Song, Break The Wall or Edge of the World by them from this live show as well. I'll also suggest another Japanese band called DOLL$BOXX who are also seriously high-end live performers - if you're interested I'd suggest checking out this clip of them performing 3 songs (Shout Down, KARAKURI TOWN and Sekai wa Kitto Ai wo Shitteru nda): kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4Cvi2WdgayqgpY

The Lovebites lady's proving Japan, is from a different planet. 😀 Please don't apologise for pausing, particularly as this is your first look at Lovebites. Pausing in amazement or to express your feelings, emotions and appreciation of the music, is what a reaction channel should be. Not a five minute head nod, with a like and subscribe, being the only comment. To see the lady's rock out on stage, have a look at Raise Some Hell: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3vaZKuDjphqhdU

If you want something really different. Check out Undead Corporation. A melodic death metal / metalcore group from Japan. The songs "Make Me Crazy" and "Chase The Rabbit" are a good place to start.

AC/DC paid their dues in the seventies playing any gig they could, and oddly enough, sometimes with Bon Scott wearing a wedding dress. Lovebites are paying their dues now......although I have to say, these ladies look MUCH better in white skirts.

Question for you... Why does your video stutter/drop out all the way through? As a comparison...if this were a vinyl copy it would be like a click/pop all the way through. No other videos do this...Can you check on this??

I think some people don't like Lovebites singer or voice tone because all Lovebites songs are in English compared to a group like babymetal or band maid. These are video of Asami Lovebites when singing in Japanese, she sounds a different ... check this: Lovebites - Bravehearted (the only Lovebites song in Japanese) kzbin.info/www/bejne/qoe2mKyOhcuiZ9k Asami Lovebites - Dare Yori Suki Nano ni kzbin.info/www/bejne/jH64qmOmrbminpY

😶 Seriously, sir? I love Lovebites but.... a reaction video with a mask? Alone... In your room...... Wearing a mask. I'm glad you discovered on of the best metal bands I've heard since I discovered Metallica, Megadeth, and Maiden back in the 80's. And I;l even leave a comment to boost the algorithm for you, but watch a reaction video of some dudes two eyes? Nah. Slainté 🍻😂🙄

Midori and Miyako are better guitarist then Angus Young. Angus has been getting away with playing the same cords for every song for years. Brian Johnson's singing bailed him out.
