I got the 100, and have been using it every day, even outside in the elements for almost a year now. The quality of the machine is outstanding, and I couldn't live without it. I chose them too for the exact same reason....customer service! Yes, Kevin is the one who you'll deal with, and he picks up when you call. It's nice knowing he will stand by his machine. He's also very accessible on Facebook, and responds to questions pretty quickly. Great buy B!

does yours spit water out heavily after keeping the trigger pressed in for a bit? Mine will do a nice stream and then out of nowhere spit water out, sucks when I am trying to be careful around electronics and stuff.

I have been using it daily! Seems very durable.💪

Kaliber...sounds like you are getting air pockets in the line. Call Kevin...he will fix you right up!
@KaliberAutoDetailing6 жыл бұрын
@@apexdetail85 I may have to call him again. He did say at one point that it was normal due to the cold water dumping into something. But I never really see it happen when I watch other videos of those streamers... or others.

Thanks for the video, I use mine, it's wonderful to clean with steam, does great on one of my client's commercial location and their large glass windows in front, absolutely wonderful :)

I have the vapor chief 100. I have had it for a bit. Mine will spit water out at random times. Sucks when I am trying to be careful around electronics where I don't want to get too wet. Also the attachment with the 3 holes... have fun with that. After it heats up and doing some scrubbing with the horse hair attachment it will spin around on you. The glue that is holding that into place will just kinda get soft or melt and just lets it spin while using it. Other than those two things ... ya I guess it's not too bad. The pressure will go way way down if you use it for an extended period of time.
@apexdetail856 жыл бұрын
Once you learn its limitations...which I expected from the beginning....It helps a whole lot and will have earned its money in no time.
@SirClintonPaul6 жыл бұрын
My vapor Chief 100 does the exact same thing yours does. Spits water occasionally the glue does let loose where the metal meets the plastic. I called Kevin and they sent me a new piece which did the same thing and like Brian said I just learned its limitations and put a ton of gorilla glue on it.

Congrats on the big dog steamer, that thing is NICE!!!! I've got a McCulloch 1275 like many others. This has been a great machine for the limited use. It works great for interiors and lifting stubborn bug residuals from paint. I wish it didn't leave the interior as wet as it does, but I haven't had any mildew issues as long as I mop up as best I can with a couple of mf towels.

I always use an air chuck and degreaser when doing that work. I would love to try out a steamer or extractor but i do 90% of my detailing at work and we dont have 1 because we deal with new cars most of the time and the company doesn't feel we need 1.

Did you say you used spring water for this machine and not distilled?
@jamesbiedlar5906 жыл бұрын
I have one as well...there is a sticker on the unit that says..." tap water not distilled".
@apexdetail856 жыл бұрын
Tap water is just fine.
@coreylee97946 жыл бұрын
Its alright to use tap water in this machine because the heating unit is outside the boiler rather than inside it. So minerals wont build up on the heating coils because water never touches them.

Be honest, that is an affiliate link in the description to the machine

I’m not convinced these steam cleaners can do more then a good APC and a hot water soaked rag. Chief Steamer sells many models but never shows them working, only the 125. With all the KZbin video the owner posts, that’s fishy.
