What Faide said is true af. Rev reborn not only arrived with an update that started the endless downfall of the game but also turned rev into what is now the easiest legend in the game. Sure I wanted a rework but not a legend who I can we 1v3 while playing with my feet, a rag over my head and my monitor upside down. He's way too broken.

If you were caught in the open by a full team as a solo Rev, you were fucked because you had no movement ability or ult shield to get away or try and fight back when they eventually rushed you like what his rework granted him.

this is different reveant has free movement on a no cooldown more free movement as a passive as well as a fucking mini scan on low HP targets, and his ult gives him max 300 hp that recharges, on no kills, or instantly refreshes when you KNOCK someone OR GET AN ASSIST. This is asseninely broken in basically every way more absurb than instant no damage for 4 seconds. He can literally carry an entire squad for free without having to have in depth knowledge of your character. Wraith needed knowlege of the game and when to use her ability for her to work as best as she could even with instant no dmg.

if they changed the ult to regen 75 overshield on knock instead of *instantly getting 75 free hp per knock* it would be less broken, it would be even better if you had to finish a kill in order to recieve this refresh so you cant 1v3 like its nothing because you just have a free 150 assumed shield if you knock one after another, resulting in 375~ total hp late game just for kinda being aggressive and annoying, then that mobility... its kinda a disaster not even CONSIDERING buffing agents of sorts like gibby/alter (giving you a free out in several situations if played correctly) or conduit (free sheild regen at a distance) or any other type of support like a vantage occasionally giving a damage boost with her ult, or fuse being fuse, in a complete echo chamber rev doesnt seem too bad, and with a player that first picked up rev this is true, so i feel a minor nerf like regen instead of allowing rev to instantly gain 75 hp after either a timer or knock would make fighting rev more consistent and predictable oh and make rev take overkill damage, if i hit a sniper shot and it does like 200 damage, do 200. dont make the ult eat the entire shot

Imo matchmaking ruined apex. Matchmaking in standard playlists is awful, I get bot lobbies after a long losing streak and typically match predators after a win. None of the games feel legitimate, it feels like it's trying to manipulate me into playing longer. Ranked playlist is pretty good though, there are no free wins and no forced losses once the season's gone long enough for people to be at their correct ranks.

Im genuinely curious as to how apex will nerf revenant. I hope the changes they do make still are selfish because I think that reflects the character more and I think is more fun with their movement. If we are talking about ranked, then sure he is broken. But in competitive, my man is not popular at all, and isn’t that useful. He has a 2.27% pick rate currently in split 1, because the character meta just doesn’t favor him at all. Your main comps are bang, Newcastle, crypto, or bang, crypto, Watson, with some slight variations of those two with catalyst or pathy in the mix. Rev in my opinion is def strong for sure, but not game breaking

They did change the ult in some ways since his rework dropped. Originally, you could tank a kraber headshot and it only broke the ult shield, leaving your health and armour completely intact. They later changed it to have bleed-through damage, just how Gibby's arm shield is. Any damage higher than the 75 ult shield, will damage Rev's armour and health just like normal. They also changed the time extension too, it was 10 secs of extra ult time on knock, then 5, now 3.

It takes almost 10 seconds for his shield to recharge IF you break it and there's a 3 second gap before it actually starts. His ult only recharges instantly on knocks and assists. As someone who mains Rev fighting other Revs, it's really just down to whoever knocks who before the shield regen starts.

With all respect I have to disagree, maybe on pc but on console his abilities good but he’s not over powered compared to most legends... with pc players config’in giving them the ability to tap strafe and change direction mid air along with mantle jumping like there using a jump pad makes his and other legends movement completely different and theres no way i can achieve that on console. The trouble is content creators saying this can influence the developers to nerf him and make him rubbish! Thats not fair on console players who main Rev and have invested money into him! They already listened to pc streamers/content creators and toned down console’s aim assist, while m&k virtually look to have no recoil due to how easy it is to simulate recoil patterns using a mouse, along with instant 180’s and a frame rate 5x that of a console, its ridiculous when pros start moaning about controller players, especially while in reality pc’s completely out plays a console to the point its almost a totally different game. It more than likely those players who voiced concerns was dying to cronus zen players and not your average every day player; but what is clear is the developers only genuinely care about its pc cliental. I feel yourself and faide may have based your view on your own abilities and tbh he’s one of the best all round players on the planet as well as you being the number 1 revenant! Truth is respawn made every legend viable!
