Beautiful no questions asked, yet heart breaking such and occurance is happening. Amazing , each and all of our Sisters had come front and center once the drum had started... the strength our people is without a doubt our women. Angers me that such a need for such a song is needed...... should not be 1 MMIW period.

Absolutley beautiful. This is a moving tribute and prayer that is both beautiful and powerful in a way that both indigenous and non-indiginous peoples can share and understand. I would love to see this presented as an inter-tribal dance that visitors may join at as many Pow Wows as possible. It is a statement of both hope and mourning that everyone can come together as one voice to bring every last MMIW home. Many., Many thanks to the Westshone Canoe Family for sharing their hearts and Sisters with us all. Please share the wording of this prayer in these comments.
