Nobody gives a shit about the nhra. This right here is real drag racing and its better than and more accessible than the nhra. The nitro cars are cool for a little bit but this right here is what its about. Real door cars getting down. Not the weird ass "pro stock" abominations.

@@FosterBennet-kn2gj of old people too out of touch with modern blue collar drag racing. Ive been to a bunch of nhra races in my life and still have the piston from a nitro funny car that let go. Its a cool book self center piece but that's about it. This is the closest to actual street racing you can get while still being legal. The amount of bullshit you have to go through just to get an nhra license to run at their events is stupid. My car certs to 8.5 in the quarter but I don't run any because the one quarter mile track nearest me got shit down over zoning bullshit. 1/8th mile racing is safer, easier on parts(mostly) and more entertaining than sitting for 30 minutes between classes at the "big show" events. Yawn
