We need God to enlighten us to His word as it is written. When David wrote Psalms 122:6 he meant it for then and now, because Jerusalem is there and will there when Jesus returns. So, if a person chooses to receive from God's blessings, pray as the scriptures suggests or miss out. To encourage others to pray for Israel is my attempt for others to be blessed as the scripture points out. Galatians 6:7 is another scripture that encourages us towards God's goodness.
