RB1 is undoubtedly Jeanty followed by Omarion Hampton and Kaleb Johnson as possible late 1st round to 2nd round picks. I believe there will be a run on RB'S in the 3rd round into the 4th

If Jeanty isn’t in the cards for us, who do you think should be the top pick for the Broncos? RB or TE?

@KB82nd If somehow Jeanty is available when the Broncos pick it's a no brainer you pick him. If he's gone then I think you go TE. Either Tyler Warren or Colston Loveland. The likelihood is that Warren will be gone by the time Denver picks too unfortunately but I have seen several mock drafts where they have Denver picking Warren so we'll see 🤷. Then in Rd 2 if they can get either Kaleb Johnson (Iowa) or Omarion Hampton (NC) I would be ecstatic. They are both 3 down RB's who don't have to come off the field. Great runners, good pass catchers and both showed the ability to pick up blitzes in pass protection in college. The thing with Jeanty is people think he is small but he's 5'9 215. Think Jahmir Gibbs or JK Dobbins as current RB's or dare I say LaDanian Tomlinson or Marshall Faulk as former RB'S. I truly believe he has the "potential" to be that good or close to it. He has the ability to go 80 yards every time he touches the ball. Think 🤔 about what that would do for our offense and particularly Bo Nix! Opens up the whole offense. He is also terrific as a receiver (he averaged 13 yards per reception this year in college)!

One advantage of shorter running backs is that they can effectively hide behind their linemen, much like Maurice Jones-Drew and Ray Rice did during their careers. The tight ends also have potential; if we manage to acquire Warren, I hope he can develop into a player like Brock Bowers. 🤞

@@KB82nd YES! 5'9 is ideal for a RB as long as they have some weight on them (especially in the lower half obviously). I'm not sure if you know this but this past year Jeanty had 1,700 yards AFTER CONTACT! That's not a typo 😂 I mean that's ridiculous. He's a true game changer. I don't think Warren is quite the receiver that Bowers is (that's not a slight he's still a really good receiver) it's just that Bowers is crazy good. Warren is 6'6 255 so he is 1000 times better than Bowers inline as a blocker + he is a matchup nightmare because he can line up anywhere. Inline, slot, out wide, FB, RB... He would truly be that "Joker" that everyone talks about Sean Payton loving in his offense so much.

Just a theory but it would be crazy if KC PURPOSELY sat there starters so Denver can win and that way they wouldn't have to face the Bengals In the playoffs because thats the only team to beat KC other than Tampa when Brady was playing for them since Mahomes has been the QB Just a theory though.
