Bengals played great but coughed it up in the end. Refs missed stuff for both teams, (as always) but I felt they were fair. Chiefs got past two of their toughest opponents while all of these teams are all still trying to get up to peak level. These two games, for me, were like the real preseason. I was hoping for no worse than losing one of these but somehow it worked out. This won't be the last game that Butker wins for the Chiefs. He's going to pass Tucker as the best this year.

Really liking Chris’ breakdowns. Getter better and better. Like the take on PM’s 2 interceptions. He missed the defender bad on the first one and even though the 2nd had the defender make a really nice play, that was only possible because the ball was under thrown. Good call out. PM still not looking sharp. Chiefs play calling was really conservative. Strange game plan. Defense bailed them out but not sure they can rely on that like last year.

But what was before this loss was a great game and Bengals did show up (for the most part) and didn't let thr slow start screw them over against the beat team in the league so im okay with watching the commentary. Lou Anarumo's defense is top tier, and he is getting it done with mediocre personnel. The Bengals got everything they wanted, they were +2 on the turnovers, and kept Mahomes under 170 yards, Kelce is still on summer vacation, the O-line play was horrible, and it still wasn't enough. The Bengals have not beaten KC since 2022. This needs to be made clear, this is three in a row vs the Bengals, and the two previous were games that ended the Bengals season.
