When washing a vehicle using conventional methods you firstly apply soap, wash using a sponge or a broom and then rinse off with water from the top to the bottom. Touchless washing is a bit different. We apply the soap through a high pressure foamer and then use high pressure water as a “sponge or a broom". We then work the water back into fresh soap, either from the bottom to the top or backwards in the case of truck trailers etc. In this way we use the soap more efficiently. (If we wash from the top down we would simply wash the soap off the vehicle which kind of defeats the purpose). We then rinse from the top down.

Clearly you have not washed alot of cars. You should always rinse from bottom to top after degreaser is applyed. Then the product has more time to soften the grime and dirt. when you rinse from the bottom the degreaser is stil doing its magic at the top part of the car. If you start rinse from the top, the water will wash away the degreaser straight away.

For foam we have to rinse from bottom to top.. But this guy is the most stupidest one.. He can't clean a truck or car properly.. Last vdo it was a jeep and this guy did not bothered to clean the backside hood of the jeep which was full of mud.. First of all I think he doesn't work without a camera and most important if on camera he is working this way then imagine off camera what he will be doing..

Please stop spamming those dumb "rinse from top to bottom" comments, This is how touchless washing works, you rinse the foam off from bottom to top because by doing that the foam flows down multiple times and washes the dirt of more effectively. i live in canada bought this stuff nerta carnet jumbo washed a truck three times concecutive and you still could right your name in the dirt white truck 3500 psi 5.5 gpm washer cost me $500 for 20 litres with delivery

because when you rinse from the top down you get a lot of streaks... and when you start leaving a lot of streaks on aluminum Betty dumps or tanker trucks you lose business.... and that's why you go bottom up

So the debate is that he washes from bottom to the top (which visually bugs me too since I've always done it top to bottom) And people are validating this by saying "he applies the foam from bottom to the top, so it will dilute the soap that is still 'working' if he starts from the top and washes down". Okay, then why wouldn't he just apply the foam soap from the top down - so he can wash it from the top down? Not only that, but he also applies the foam and waits "a minute" anyway prior to washing it.... So my questions are, does applying the foam from the bottom up help prevent it from sliding down? And, does he rinse it intentionally from the bottom to the top, and back down again - to get two passes on the vehicle - the last pass being the one that rinses it from the top to the bottom? If so, then it makes sense to do it that way being that it would be more efficient since time is money.

Dave u do it bottom to top so when u move up the soap runs down and it cleans it better so stop telling everyone else how to do stuff, I clean trucks like this with my step dad and we go bottom to top cos it is more effective and plus u prob live in America and in Australia driving trucks is a lot more harsh so don't complain
