Hi guys! Today I Go over the Chieftain Armour Stacker that I made in the Shifting Stones (N23E3). I actually played smite from day 1 on the beach till the end. can do all pinnacle bosses. probably not ubers.

This looks good, I might be trying it next league. In blast from the past I got a bare-bones cwc DD occultist to sim wave 23 as a league start test. I always try to get to sims fast in a league start.

Until you can run grace. A good belt to help cap fire resistance is Arn’s anguish cloth belt as it can give 60% fire res and around +680 armour.

after the gem changes how you can still get the grace divine blessing setup? weve lost 25% reduced mana on 5% on inspiration now -39% before -44% and -20% on the increased duration is MB the only way now? or do you have other tipps? Secondly is Berserk still viable with kaoms?

One thing I do want to mention is that cluster jewels will most likely be quite a bit harder to get in a real league start scenario, because people won't be dropping cluster jewels in 20% of their zones from level 1 like in the shifting stones event

Yeah the first days it might be difficult. It might be a good idea to transition into the build a few days into the league to keep it smooth

In general i think starting scion with something like self-cast exsanguinate or PP CF scion variant is best bet if you wanna transition to armor stacker later. Its just my personal experience but i felt much better(mostly defense wise) on scion than i did on chieftain until i poured like 3 mirrors into my chieftain . With scion it felt like every small increase in aura's is very noticable while for chieftain i would sometimes get one shot despite having identical gear as my scion. With scion it was smooth sailing starting from 20 div budget all the way to mageblood budget and beyond. But again just my experience as scion variant is much better documented and chieftain isnt so i would guess there is much better ways to make chieftain viable early on in the league

sweet :) was planning on starting rf chieftain this time and transition into a stacker after week1... with an estimated budget of ~100-150div after the first week (and probably ~300 more over the next 2 weeks - usually get bored after 3-4weeks), would you rather go for an armor stacker or an acc stacking jugg? have never played either of them, so i have a hard time making a decition since i dont know which one scales better with my budget.

Armor stacker is both good defense and good offense. All other stackers are glass canon

I think ancestral call before shared max res is a better ascendancy aura. You don't have 90 max fire res in act 8 lol

@@Bigdaddytehpwnerereerr They are not going to touch smite, as no one plays it. SRS, Guardians Sentinel, Tornado shot, Lightning Arrow, DD, and maybe EA Batista has to be on the short list. But Smite is 1-2% player base. I can't see them touching it.

Yea you can probably run LS. You will need more items to get it going though. Things like helm enchant, mark on hit setup and point blank. Since you basically cannot play LS without the helm enchant for extra projectiles these days and there's no way I was gonna farm lab in the event, I stayed with smite. When properly setup LS does more damage.

Can you explain volatility? everyone is using it and i dont get why, it seems less dmg multiplier on avg(if you dont focus on shocks with the bigger hits or doing dot-bleed build)

Because lightning damage high end is extremely high and the low end is already low. The downside of the gem is minimal since the lower end of lightning damage was low to begin with.

Would it be possible to get an ascendant transition guide for 3.23? What I mean is a good build to run on leaguestart that costs little to no regrets to transition to armour stacker smite/ls once you get those first 20ish div going(mainly asking for a life variant of the build that actually works to play before I can afford aegis and reservation clusters to transition to ci). Ofc after the announcement, don't think the build will be hit by any nerfs as it's fairly niche and very costly but you never know.

I usually play a different build for the first 3 days and then make the scion when I've got the core items. I made a series about how I do it a few months ago If you really want to go scion as your first char then probably RF or as someone mentioned, cb kb or exangunate

@@Bigdaddytehpwnerereerr That'd obviously be best, however leveling a new character usually takes 2 days for me which is kinda rough when you have somewhat limited time to play the league so thats why I was looking for a scion starter, I'll check out one of those builds and try to transition afterwards, thanks!

It’s impossible to transition to an armor/aura stacker from any normal build without tons of regrets. The tree is just substantially different.

I would go Sunder early, and then either Boneshatter or just stay sunder all the way till you can change over, or possibly grab Avatar of Fire. To tell the truth though I hate leveling through the game with some other skill then doing a total re-haul of the build. It's one of the things I hate about the game. Most builds are fun... at lvl 90+. To me it's scratching nails on a caulk board when I have to play some skill I dislike for 2 days just so I can play the skill I like. Oh ya, you can play the other skill, it will only take you 3 times longer. That's not fun either.

Pretty cheap. If you don't count that amulet then probably like 5 div in trade league? The economy was a bit different in the event. (In the event I spent about 40 divs on this guy lol) But for day 5 with no mageblood etc 7 mill is pretty normal.

Hmm that's a good question. I'll have to try it out I guess. There's no simulacrum on trade in the event so I haven't been able to try it out. I think you should be able to do it (I've done with less dmg in previous leagues)

Yea that mastery makes hit damage irrelevant. Dots will be a problem but with enough chaos res it should be fine
