I think it's better to have the cupola buffed rather than removed, just enough to where you need prammo to penetrate it. It will make the tank somewhat balanced and unique among the impervious hulldown heavies, but the dominating meta will still somewhat devalue this tank over the others, making it seem not-so-worth. As long as it's sold cheap, then it's fine

The cupola is a problem for this tank not gonna lie. It reduces its hull-down/ ridgeline abilities. The gun is great though. I won't be buying this tank.

the thing about the chieftan is that its a very mixed bag. great gun, great turret, massive weak spot on top that is pennable by everything, and a troll hull. thing is ive been flanked by 3 enemies at once twice now in the thing and ive somehow managed to troll bounce a lot of them on the tracks. dont rely on it I still got swarmed and died but a k91 and t30 managed to bounce my tracks form the front somehow. anyways, the turret is insanely strong and thet thing is when its turned sideways on u still cant pen the front part from the side. u gotta fire at the rear of the turret to pen it. one thing everyone fails to mention about tanks like the chieftan, is2 shit and others that no one pays much attention to is that wargaming added in extra credits for first class's and aces and the like. anything above 4k or 4.5k dmg is an ace with the chieftan and I did 2.7k and got a first class in the is2 SHit, so they can make credits if u play them well and get good results

Been playing with this tank a few days I actually like it if you play with your turret only showing and learn to move an use apcr it works pretty good sniping is key get a good position and your king in the open your toast

that m4a1 revalorise bundle in shop is pretty good, 18 bucks for a great fun tank and some bonuses. I remember back when premiums like the IS 6 were so expensive because WG never used to bring out bargain bundles like "buy 12500 gold get 5000 free" it was just: 2000 gold or 20000 take it or leave it '_'

That hatch is what does the spotting on tanks. Removing Chieftain's would be a huge nerf.

I have the T95 and it’s a tough tank to play. If you can’t hide the donut on the top your game is over quickly.

I love this tank because of the good mobility can be used to max heavium abilities, good gun at range or close up and good DPM. Never stay still, to defer its bad hair day. Imagine you have "ants in you're pants".........

I think the Action X is the better heavy because its better for hulldown positions. Meanwhile the chieftain is the better "medium" tbh. It doesn't have armor, mediocre mobility but great gun. It can also go hulldown but don't expect to bounce a lot of shots cuz of that huge tumor at the head.

I have a Chieftain and Rev. They're fine machines, but nowhere near worth what they are at now. At least in my opinion. Maybe the Rev just cause I adore the vehicle, but to each their own.

Its a pretty good tank imo, I avrg 2.3k dmg with a good team, the cupola gives a lot of problems tho.
