@ I’ve been running it all year and have zero complaints with it. It’s a good purchase if you have the money. Not to mention the dash/rear cam is just fun to be able to look back at portions of my ride to analyze later. If I knew I took a corner less than ideally, I can find the footage and review to see what I could’ve done better

Great review. I particularly liked the side-by-side comparison of the Chigee video with the GoPro video. The color balance seems bluer and the brightness is less but the video is very clear. I'm in the market for a good front/rear DVD for my motorcycle with a large display that I can mount directly above the dash to use as a rear view monitor so I can have 360 degree situational awareness. I want it to power up automatically, record any time the bike is on, and always display the rear view. $550 is a bit more than I wanted to pay, but the quality looks good. This could be a good choice for a dash replacement on an older bike.

Yes, new firmware allows you to switch to MPH, I'll be back in FL next week and will update the unit and be using it. It doesn't text your phone for movement Yes, you can watch rear camera while using navigation audio, but does not have split screen For this

Could you use this as a standalone unit hooked up to OBD2 to get a check engine lights signals high low beam odometer reading

You'd have to contact the manufacturer, I did not see an OBD wire to connect and of course I did not have an OBD style bike so I don't know how it does the sensing. But it doesn't look like it has high low beam signals etc just what was showing on the display in that section

Excellent review cheesy. With as many bikes as you have this could be an expensive to outfit each bike. Definitely a cool camera. How difficult was it to take content from the SD card and upload it on your KZbin. I was kicking around that insta 360 with multiple bikes I think it would be my best option.

It was pretty easy. Insta 360 does a great job, just takes a lot of time processing the 360 image after positioning etc.
