Well basically the PD hate Jung character and decided to cut off most of his scene that could better explain why he did what he do, which is what original webtoon shows. Kim Go Eun is a beautiful lady and you can tell she is warm hearted. Which is probably why her lead actors in Cheese in the trap and Goblin fell hard for her. Especially park hae Jin, they had this attraction that feels deeper than what we see on screen, with their affectionate hugs and him nuzzling her hair you can tell there is more, which is usually not in the script: It’s probably why she declined the movie role coz they would have fallen for each other hopelessly if they continued working together and she had a boyfriend at the time. She ended up breaking up with her boyfriend during Goblin, I believe the tension in her relationship would have worsened because of her insane chemistry with her two co stars. Seo Kang Joon was an unnecessary addition in the love triangle in the cheese in the trap drama, I like him but he clearly didn’t stand a chance coz the attraction between park hae Jin and Kim Go Eun was just too strong.

No matter how stupid the ending was this song shows the Hong Seol is in love with Jung. The last part when she sang the line you suddenly ask me to eat and i fell in love made my heart wrench. This song makes me cried. How I wish the ending show our OTP happy and Kim Go Eun voice is amazing. Her chemistry with Park Hae Jin was off the chart. I hope you two can reunite and make another drama together. So many people ship In Ho and Seol but JungSeol is endgame guys. There were times where I fell victim to SLS too, but I think Jung and Seol bring out the better qualities in each other. In Ho is sweet and caring and all things one should look for in a boyfriend. Jung, on the other hand is quite manipulative and doesn't see how wrong his methods are. But at the end of the day, I think Seol is the perfect person to point out his wrongdoings and fix it. Not to mention ever since their relationship started, Seol has learned a lot and matured because of Jung. Hope things work out between them!

I agree with everything you said except for the part about Jung being in the wrong. His way of doing things may be cold at times but they are not definitely not wrong. It's the people who first provoked Jung, took what was not theirs, then demanded for more shamelessly and acted as victims who are in the wrong. Jung only grabbed hold of those opportunities to get back to them and teach those people a lesson, and make them realise their mistakes. It's actually pretty smart and clever. Also, he never really went overboard with his method of revenge. He actually leaves a leeway for those people to correct their mistakes and turn over a new leaf. Take the incident with the teaching assistant for example. If Jung reported him to the police for theft, it won't be just as simple as him being teased by the students in school. He will leave a crime record behind. He even kept the promise about not telling others what the teaching assistant actually did. Jung is a kind boy at heart so I hope you can understand him a little more.

He has had his share of being stabbed in the back - especially by the Baek siblings but do we see him blaming them or complaining against them to anyone? Never- not once. We see In Ho often expressing his bitterness against Jung alone as well as to Seol and this sort of conditions us to hate Jung and sympathize with In Ho. Yoo Jung is probably the most misunderstood of Kdrama characters. But he is my fa character played superbly by my most favourite actor ever- Hae Jin ssi.

I think that the only reason why people are hating on the ending is because they don't realise that the characters still live on in their fictional universe even after the drama ends. It's not like the characters died or anything. They simply gave each other the time and space to grow as people. Maybe they got back together later on, maybe they didn't. This kind of ending gives us the freedom to imagine whatever we want. People who liked the couple can imagine that they reconciled, and those who didn't, can imagine that they broke up for good.

I love this drama so much. Probably because I see myself in Seol a lot from when I was in college. I had a very straightforward but really nice close friend like her friend Bo Ra. I had a lot of groupmates who don't do much in our reports but I still write their name in our presentation. I got bullied verbally during my first year. I also had good grades in fact I graduated with an honorable mention award. I also commute 4 hours a day and I take the train every single day. The only thing I wasn't able to experience is to have 2 guys fight over me LOLOL. I was so focused in my studies I never had a relationship with a guy in college. haha! But I almost got along with a good looking senior of mine but I just didn't know how to approach him. That's why I'm regretting it a lot LOL. :D Sorry for writing this super long post, just sharing my awesome college life haha!

Even though some people find the ending sad in a way I feel it was a good ending. Jung Yoo needed his time so he can find himself so he can learn how to love her properly. Both Hong Seol and Jong taught something to each other. He just needed his time so he doesn’t keep hurting her. That’s why I feel this drama has such a good message.
