To be fair, most of the time when people prefer Sub it is because they can’t fully understand what they’re saying and would mostly read the captions. I believe Japanese also prefer either Dub or Sub depending on the quality. It is just usually in Japanese since it would be a bit difficult to quickly read kanji compare to how we would read English.

Nah, each of the different sniper rifles boost different stats based on the user's trion level. The Lightning just boosts bullet speed, which makes its shots harder to dodge, but Chika using it would not negate the lack of power. Course, when she starts using lead bullets...

Not so much, actually. Remember, Border likes to keep property damage to a minimum, because the goal is for citizens to eventually move back into the area. Chika's cannon is flashy and useful in potential away missions, but it is functionally unusable when you have the home field advantage. It was for the same reason that Amo was not allowed to fight in the Galapoula invasion.

Spoilers! Actually now that I'm rewatching this scene I feel sorry for Chika. The reason that she was so scared was because she was worried that people would start disliking her for her 'abnormal' power. I'm glad that she got over this fear in the newer chapters of the manga and is finally starting to be more optimistic and not too selfless. She is fit to fight and ok with killing people, she just didn't want to blamed for people near her missing, be blamed for hurting people too much or considered cheating since the amount of trion she possesses is too damn high all because of her past where nobody believed in her. Now that she have gotten over her fear, there's no way she isn't fit to fight.

Chika isn't really considered to be weak because of her immense trion levels but she's considered to be one if the vulnerable snipers because of her lack of experience so others can target her easily (what I mean is that her positions and her habits make her vulnerable as a sniper) if it makes any sense I'm caught up in the manga and she's able to shoot people now and she seems to have way more experience in sniping now
