Wow a story up my alley...I took ASL in college as a minor...I loved it...I taught my preschoolers basic signing and they also learned Jesus love me in sign language...it was years ago though...the triumph over this young man disability proves you can do anything when you have the determination to do so❤

I'm glad Chike's beautiful spirit was not corrupted by pettiness. The real tragedy would have been if, upon becoming successful, he chose to repay evil with evil towards those who had wronged him. He won't be any different from his sisters and his father if he had done that. Nice story.

What an absolutely beautiful story. Chile’s father was a terrible man. His mother was was a loving person, who loved her son; she communicated with him, and taught him how to do house work, how to cook and clean, which Chike did with joy for his beloved mother. All she taught him started to open doors for him, including a job, where he met his future wife, who love him deeply, despite his disabilities. Such an absolutely enjoyable story. I can say this story reminds me of some individuals who I have seen becoming successful. Despite ones disability you can do any that a hearing person does. A person with disabilities is smart and intelligent, too. Never look on the disabilities but look on the ability. Be patient with them and show love. I have seen some become lawyers, teachers, principals, assistance teachers, chefs, and much more than that. My recommendation to anyone is if you have a child who is deaf or with disabilities. Please do not give upon them. They can achieve with you help.
