公式twitterでチコさんの状況確認してましたが、二人一緒の貴重な動画が観る事ができ、感謝感謝です。🙏どうにか同居が上手くいくよう願ってます。それにしても、海外の方々のコメントはぶれないというか、新しい環境について辛口評価ですね。色んなご意見があって参考になります。

こちらこそありがとうございます。ほんとそう思いますね。確かによくないことはよくないとは思ってます。 ただ、ここよりはるかによろしくないところがあるので、それを含めるとやむを得ないかな？という気持ちです。 やはり動物のために潤沢な資金を使ってもらいたいのは私も同じなんですけど・・・ほかの方が言ってましたが、旭山みたいなところでなくてよかったとも思います。

I feel so bad for Chiko to be taken away from her elderly mom n look where she ends up. Looks sad and miserable there but happy that Jun has company. This place needs to be updated badly. Who makes these decisions cuz this one was a bad one. Like going from a mansion to a mud hut. 😢

This habitat is not so good, but I think it is still much better than Asahiyama zoo. Hamamatsu is located on the western side of Japan and its winter is relatively mild, so the chimps are not kept inside for the entire winter like in Asahiyama.

@@GreatApesZoo Agree.Im glad he's going to get used to just Chiko first. Jun is such a good chimp from what I've seen, how can they not like him. Chiko can help Cherry except him.Chiko still looks in shock. 28 years with your Mom, and friends, this is all very new and frightening for her. Jun looks very relaxed. In time, they will get closer. At least I hope so.

@@troycote4503 I think they should wait longer than November 5th to bring Cherry, give Chiko time to learn Jun on her own, cause Cherry might just make Jun & Chiko her ner Bonbon & Berry. I sure hope Cherry plays nice.

Heartbreaking! I have no idea what chiko is feeling about the new place, but it’s not looking good going off this footage. I hope she gets back to Tama at some point, or at least in time can enjoy her stay

If Jun doesn't mate, how were Chiko and Cherry transferred on a breeding program? I am happy to see that Chiko is exploring and doesn't appear to be in distress. I just wish she had more to do to occupy her mind and body. I am sad that there is no fishing or ropes to climb. At least she will have Cherry soon.

I didn't see her ticks as a sign of distress because she has always done that. Of course, learning to exist in a whole new world will be a bit difficult, but she seems relatively calm to me, all things considered. I do, however, think that after the novelty wears off and she's settled in, she'll be bored out of her mind which concerns me.

She's going to be like that for a bit. Until she's used to her new environment. She's exploring and looking around. Looks healthy for just being moved out of Tama and introduced to an adult chimp that she's never seen or known. Thanks for the update!

ジュンは、好意的に接したいようですが、その方法がわからない・・・。チコはそれどころではない、不思議の国アリス状態ですから。チンパンジーらしからず、のんびり行くのが彼らのペースなんでしょうね。🥰👍

I have already written emails to this zoo concerning Chiko and Soon incoming Cherry as to they need to update not only the indoor but outdoor enclosures, these chimps need to keep their minds working and these bare enclosures are NOT gonna work, a chimp like Cherry will die of boredom here. I see the ant mound but no sticks in site, Chiko and mainly Cherry love the ant mound at Tama, this zoo can't compare to Tama at all, and never will, I'm sorry to Chiko and Cherry for having to come to this dirty disgusting place, would of been better to transfer Jun out of here.

It's definitely smaller but it can't be that dirty. There's only Jun. I'm feeling bad for Chiko regardless. 27 years with your mother and friends! Chiko seemed to get along with everyone at Tama. She was a model Chimp. If Cherry has a baby, she'll be occupied! I hope she likes Jun. She liked Gin, and she attacked him. She's going to be lost, especially without Bonbon, and vice versa. At least they weren't sent to Asahiyama jailhouse.

@@troycote4503 it is dirty and for years people and myself have been writing to get Jun the heck out of there, since his dad Johnny died, the people at this zoo need lessons in how to keep chimps happy and healthy by allowing the chimps to keep their minds active. My opinion Cherry won't do good here, they can't update the enclosures, what makes you think they will pay to artificially inseminate both Cherry and Chiko, cause remember Jun doesn't mate. This is a disgrace to Cherry and Chiko and very heart breaking

Cherry can piss me off sometime but I still care for all these Chimps. Chiko doesn't look happy either. That bothers me.

I hope Jun and Chiko develop a relationship before Cherry is introduced. Imagine the 2 Tama sisters bonding into a problem for poor Jun. Can't believe his arm was torn off.

I see Cherry throwing some huge fits soon. Looks to me like Chiko is looking for a way out. Seems a "Riches to Rags" story now. We've all written the zoo, I don't know if they care about Tama fans in America though. I'm sorry to think it may bring other baby chimps into an enclosure that can't even hold 3 happily. I agree Jun should have been move, but to where I don't know, not to Tama, they'd kill him. Poor Cherry and Chiko, but Jun maybe happy but I can't tell that either.

1st of all I want to thank Great Apes Zoo for going here and making this video and sharing it. I’ve been waiting to see Chiko at her new home and this was wonderful to see so again thank you and please continue to go here when you can and share the videos. Let’s all remember these are adult chimps who have just met. It’s going to take awhile before they groom each other. It’s still all new for Chiko and it’s a very big deal learning the routine in someone else’s house. To me Chiko looked just fine. She was keeping her distance to the male stranger. After time and she sees that he means her no harm she will be up top with him. Once Cherry gets there I see them following each other everywhere. I just hope they let them out all together. Not one day Jun and Chiko and the next day Jun and Cherry. I hope they let the 3 out all together. I see Cherry running the place after a year. I can see Jun being afraid of her. I agree 100 percent they need to add climbing poles and ropes and sticks for the termite mound. Let’s all remember also that this wouldn’t have ever happened if Tama didn’t agree to it. Tama zoo was aware of the conditions of this zoo.. I hope it’s true that they were moved there for breeding. Time will tell
