Child Marriage in Ethiopia's Amhara Region

Children in rural areas are less likely to receive an education at an early age and must travel long distances to attend school, particularly for girls whose families arrange for an early marriage. Access to health care facilities is often a challenge. Women who become pregnant too soon are unable to give birth in hospitals, forcing them to give birth at home where they not only lose their kids but also their lives. There is also an issue with getting water to drink; they use dirty lake water and are unable to use the restroom. We want to express our gratitude for cooperating with us to resolve this matter.
