There was lots of deleted scenes in the movie, they say it was supposed to be 2 hours long, but they decided to cut the other scenes. It sucks, but they claimed that a sequel is now in the works. EDIT: apparently, the sequel isn't gonna happen. Sadly, it turns out that there's a lost cut of the remake. There's been clips being found at least but for now, let's hope they'll give us the 2-hour directors cut that includes the deleted scenes and cut showcases.

Most scenes *were* used with a animatronics and puppets, but some scenes did use CGI. Some scenes made it kind of obvious that it was, but some scenes I would have never guessed!

Good movie, but let’s be real, these effects are going to age QUICK. they most definitely could’ve balanced out the cgi and animatronics to make it super realistic but it’s cleared they relied way too much on cgi when they could’ve used practical effects in certain scenes.
