Theory for the oratrice finding Tartaglia guilty might have something to do with the abyss. This is with unconfirmed consideration that the Gnosis is in the oratrice. The gnosis are things made by Celestia, who are in direct opposition of of the Abyss. Tartaglia has abyssal powers. Oratrice is made as a thing to give judgements, so if an artifact of Celestia is giving judgement, it probably considers abyssal powers to be guilty.

So far, this is my theory about Furina's secrets. Furina didn't want to become an Archon. As stated in the Kvharenah of Good and Evil world quest, the former Hydro Archon, Lord of Amrita, died while fighting the abyss the first time the hole in the sky opened up. Which happened 500 years ago. There's a possibility after that event, Furina didn't have a choice but to become a Hydro Archon even though she know that she is not fit. It's obvious that she is weak, and in terms of intelligence, she doesn't have that much to brag about either. As a result, Furina is putting on this "act" and the Oratrice serves as the embodiment of Fontaine's "justice" in her place. I would argue that Furina may had also have a close bond with her predecessor, just like Ei and Nahida. The true creator of the Oratrice might also be the Lord of Amrita. Knowing that she might not return alive, Lord of Amrita left the Oratrice as a way to help Furina once she took on the throne. Neuvillette may also be a close friend of Lord of Amrita, who stayed behind to help Furina govern Fontaine. It's funny that there's a drama about people complaining about Furina being annoying when clearly, there's more to Furina's character than her act. Even that sudden burst of emotions from her, 4:57 clearly indicates she's not just a brat.

Furina kind of reminds me of Mercades from Odin Sphere. She was a young princess who became queen after her mother was killed in battle. She had to learn quickly due to being in a war and a coup from her cousin. Thankfully, she had people she could trust to help her and by the end of her story, she forced Odin (the man that killed her mother) into a truce. Maybe Furina will go through a similar journey.

So Nahida said that Focalors reserves the authority to decide the final verdict. But we don't see Furina doing anything like that. When her accusations are completely refuted she concedes and lets Neuvillette and the Oratrice declare Lyney innocent. On the other hand, the entity that does fit the description of "has the authority to overrule the Chief Justice's verdict and decide the final verdict" is the Oratrice. We literally see it do that for the first time in its action. Not only that, the Fatui already suspects that the Oratrice has a consciousness, and when Lyney tried to investigate its core he heard a voice trying to communicate with him. Also reminder that Nahida's knowledge of Focalors comes from her connection to the Irminsul, not physical observation. The most logical conclusion is that Oratrice has Focalors in it: it's the real Focalors or a piece of consciousness split from Furina or something. Although it could very much be a misdirection like how we were led to assume that Nahida is Rukkhadevata turned smol.

Not really, Nahida statement of The God of Justice having the final say is valid because the Oratrice is the Archon's will itself as it was created by the original God Of Justice. Also we know that gods can preserve their consiousnsess in objects like how Guizhong stored a part of her in the Memory of Dust then Makoto stored a part of herself in Musou Isshin and how Rukkadevata saved a part of herself in irmensul. So it could very well be possible that the Original Hydro Archon stored a part of herself in the Oratrice in case if she died the ideal of Justice she believed in will continue on. This could also explain why Furina didnt know what was going on because the Scale wasnt created by her contrary to People's beliefs

I strongly believe that Childe's arrest was orchestrated by Arlecchino. I think the altercation in front of the blacksmith related to the debt collectors of the Carabinere (I hope I got that name right) means more than we think. If not the result of an outright rigging, Childe *might* be considered guilty by the Oratrice because the Northland Bank loaned the Carabinere money, iirc, and Vacher was in charge of that group. So, in a way, the Fatui (and by extension, Childe) facilitated the disappearances. Remember that Vacher was in contact with someone, as per the notes found in the Sinthe lab. He wasn't the only 'higher up'. I think Arlecchino wants Childe in the prison to get him out of the way/out of the Harbingers. They really don't like each other, after all, and Fontaine is 'her' city. I feel like the prison also has something to do with the production of Indemnitium, and maybe she thinks Childe's only worthy use is as a power source in that capacity. All that is to say, I'm expecting a prison break ala Boiling Rock in AtLA! 😄

I think the truth of the Oritrce is that it’s some type of collective consciousness or self aware AI… I know it’s based on the belief in Justice in Fontaine but- it shouldn’t hold this much power. Childe might’ve fought with us before in Liyue, but I know for a fact that here, he’s innocent. Whatever happened or how to prove it, we don’t know yet.

Have we ever heard of a vision stop functioning when it’s owner is still alive? Visions are supposed to be someone’s desire made manifest right? Childe’s vision not working right I think means one of two things. Either one, he is being forced to do something he so strongly disagrees with that his vision is responding to his conflicted mind (example being that he may be being forced to do something covert and against his honor code thing) or option two… childe is not in control of his own actions currently.

the entire thing is probably linked to that "it" that Childe mentioned near the start of Fontaine some massive primordial aquatic creature and then the entire issue is some kind of primordial water being harmful, dissolving people. and the prophesy mentioned the water levels rising, something that'd occur if you were to add a very large object (or creature) to a body of water "it" might be linked to the primordial water, therefore meaning that as the one that supposedly woke "it" up Childe might bear (completely accidental) responcibility, thus making him guilty. as for the vision thing, I think that the Oritrice is being run by the Gnosis, thus meaning that the machine is directly linked to Celestia I think that during Childe's time in Fontaine the Oritrice detected him somehow and deemed him guilty long before the trial ever began and with the Oritrice being linked to Celestia due to the Gnosis Celestia would've potentially been able to see this guilty verdict and the reasoning behind it, deem Childe a threat (potentially due to his links to the Abyss and whatever "it" really is), and potentially shut off Childe's Vision (Visions do ultimately seem linked to Celestia after all, if anyone is able to just shut them off or make them stop working I'd bet on someone from Celestia).
