Three great English Dance tunes, rarely heard together, except I've always enjoyed playing them together as a set of listening tunes, so I hope you like them too.

I love these tunes that seem to have a narrative, they sound like they’re telling a story.

Very happy, lively music. Reminded me of skipping to the market on a sunny morning. 😊

Do you know where I can find the sheet music or is it a pass around type of music; the kind you have to be shown. Thanks

www.thedansemacabre.org/Songbook/morguesongs/childgrove.jpg tunearch.org/wiki/Gallopede thesession.org/tunes/1310 I have played these tunes for years from memory, so my versions will be a little different. I have learnt them from other musicians over the years.

peakfiddler Thank very much. I have heard of the session but I did not realize that wiki had a music section. So I need to say thank you again for passing that on. Learning from someone is best. Thanks also for your video. Cheers

These are popular tunes in my locality, not sure how well known they are elsewhere, but they certainly have a a distinct sound.

I’ve come to your video to learn The Morpeth Rant because it’s a Northumbrian tune and I want to play it here in Australia with a Northumbrian piper. Thanks 🎻🎻👏👏👏👏👏

Three more wonderful foot-tappers. As a Scotsman these are unfamiliar to me, so I presume they are English. What’s the best. source(s) for these dance tunes In your opinion.

I've picked these tunes up over the years by playing in various sessions and have learnt to play them by ear. This place may help 'abcnotation.com/'

Will the Scots not play music if it’s English ? You hear everything in England.
