It feels more like a Concept Demo, rather than a typical demo we see anymore. Like they put ideas together, some basics of story and mechanics, and testing the Waters of what people react with. And I hope that's what they're doing! Because this if revised and polished could be a fairly good game. Also, probably the best Backrooms Easter Egg of most games XD

Honestly, really good for a mascot horror game. The ambience isn't the best, but at least it doesn't rely on cheap jump scares. I feel they went towards the right path with monster design too, feeling as though that can be an actual mascot to something aimed towards kids. The monster design also being like treavor henderson related is also great, but I think they fell flat when it was the "QR Monster" rather than something actually flesh like.

While this game definitely had more effort put into it, compared to Garten of Banban, I think it needs a lot more work for the full release. Here's a rapid-fire for what I believe needs some changes or touch-ups: - The antagonist Sparky Marky doesn't fit the setting I feel, perhaps a robot monster that's a mix of metal and flesh would be better, and while the QR monster fits this description, it would make more sense for the mascot of a tech recreational camp for kids to be a robot. - So far, the setting doesn't look like a technological recreational camp for kids, it just looks live a government facility in the middle of the woods with vending machines and murals sprinkled about. - The discord idea I admit is definitely unique, but I feel like they leaned a bit too much into it, the QR monster included. Additionally, they have no explanation for how this fits in the setting. This would make more sense if the game was a meta parody of mascot horror. - the stylized graphics aren't doing this game much justice, a horror game can have this, but how it is implemented in Sparky Marky makes the game less scary, perhaps this is intentional I'm not sure. Maybe I'm overanalyzing this game, perhaps this was just a pet project made by the developers to see what they can do, that would explain the whole discord thing, and maybe this game isn't meant to be taken seriously. But if they intend to charge money for the full release, then I think they need to make some changes. Lemme know if I'm being an idiot here, I just wanna write down my thoughts.

Sparky is literally supposed to be the place's mascot, I don't see why it'd make any sense for him to not be designed to be as child-friendly as possible. Also it's already a robot I'm pretty sure, just with a plastic/latex costume over it.

this game's obv got more love and effort put into it than garten, but it still uses the same boring tropes of mascot horror. chock full of lore for lets players to find and mat pat to solve. its a demo, not the full game to build interest and a fan base. and of course with its own asymmetric multiplayer horror game as side content. i will admit tho, the discord thing was neat, but the light effect is annoying to see every single time.

Good game about a mascot suit with something sinister lurking inside created by a bunch of devs from different games, yea the graphics are better but I just want to say garten of banban was made by two people who had verry little funding to create a vision so they found the resources they needed and went to work, then got people mocking them flailing refunds in there face and DDOSing there parents.
