I’m not sure about other parts of my province, but I live in Edmonton, Alberta (in Canada) and when I broke my left ankle in Grade 8 everyone around me supposed me, similar thing happened when my dad had a seizure and we thought it was brain cancer (thankfully it isn’t). Yes there is nothing wrong to take care of ill parents without any payment as long those parents are truly goodness type not the fake goodness type. And same goes for the taking care of childrens of the parents but in this manner that if the child is kid then of course within righteous limits of goodness whether the child is goodness type or badness type but if the child is adult then as long the child is goodness type as subscribed likewise and that's normal even that's normal, medium, high etc too as normal. And thus is one of the real true responsibilities about parents and children relationship even same goes for the family relationship.

This story is so messed up on so many levels. Tatsuya willingly (and this is the important distinction here: willingly) sacrificed everything to look after his mother, while his childhood friend turned on him and spat on him for doing what anyone who loved their mother would do... and now that it's happened to the "friend", his own mother basically helped pressure him into looking after that "friend" now that karma paid her a visit. Why should he sacrifice any more of his life for such an ungrateful brat, no matter what her reasoning for being such a witch was? And seriously, turning on him because he did the decent thing and looked after his mother? "Boohoo, my crush can't spend any time with me because he's looking after his sick mother, so I'll become a raging hctiB towards him instead!" I'd tell her to kick rocks (pun intended). Also, if I were Tatsuya, I'd be furious at my own mother for pressuring me into being a *forced* carer in my teenage years. That is such a betrayal that it boggles the mind. That's not love.

Not trying to be the white knight here, because I would argue equally even if genders were swapped, but I think the story started around middle school right? I've seen middle schoolers be blatantly awful people, especially as teenagers. It's rare, if not impossible to find a teenager who ISN'T an a**hole. Even honest and kind middle schoolers are greedy and butt holes to a degree. They are extremely self-absorbed and everything has to go their way. "He doesn't spend time with me anymore so obviously he doesn't like me. Screw him and his mother!" is something that happens to often unfortunately. The only issue here (imho) is that as she grew up, rather than addressing her resentment and realizing it was unfair and childish, she just... Never addressed it and it festered. Again, I have seen a lot of people do this (different circumstances but same result). So... Yea. I wouldn't judge somebody by what's generally perceived as the "worst years" for personality. When she got in a wheel chair, she matured and her perspective grew. Even though it was awkward and extremely embarrassing she admitted she had done him wrong. I don't think she was expecting a date, even forgiveness was a long shot, but she felt she had to say her piece. Source: Somebody who has witnessed this at least a dozen times (usually second hand or from the person directly). It's not always a happy story, but it's usually for the better. Side note: The most recent apology was having to do with excluding somebody because they didn't want them to stress about money because their family wasn't financially stable. The other person grew resentment at not being invited, but eventually a friend of a friend told him why he was being excluded. He confronted his and they made up. The one whose family was financially stable would slip their son a few extra bucks so that he could pay for his friend's tab/portion whenever they went out as a group. The insults weren't as harsh, but it was eerily similar to this story.

I think it would've worked better if the injury could be healed with therapy but she doesn't want to go because she realized that this is karma for what she did to Tatsuya. Never underestimate someone who willingly helps move people around in wheelchairs. They are far stronger than they look. I'm 5'4", and barely weight 97 pounds. But despite my size, I've always been pretty strong. That is because I am one of those people who gladly helped those in need and stuck in a wheelchair with highly hinders their movement and lives. Had this one friend named Mitch. He was in a wheelchair. But each morning, I'd walk with him up to our classroom from the dorm buildings. He could have easily taken the bus, but we loved having our morning conversations and it was a lot of fun.

ive been exactly in Tatsuya shoes, my mom had a stroke and have been in a wheel chair since, i toke care of her and helped when ever i can, its strange to see adults avoiding you, talking behind your back for caring for another person, she needed better care later on but i visit 2-3 times a month always. I'm alone, handicapped myself now, on welfare while my government try their hardest to passively kills us with disabilities and handicap and probably have to spend rest of my life alone, which id gladly do rather then have a toxic selfish girl/women with me tbh. at least Kaoru now understood Tatsyua's position for his mother at the end. it's difficult to take care off someone who is disabled, I have autism but I'm normal enough to be independent... however I know guys who are deeper in the spectrum that needed care. while disabilities either physical or mental, all are though to take care off. the one being cared for can often feel like a burden to the caretaker (which they sometimes are) but the caretakers job is a difficult task where each disability has certain needs and care. I know that some of the review pity tatsuya for being "forced" into this with Kaoru, being guilt tripped by his mother and the other two and the fact he traded one duty for another. sure he can't do things like go to the arcade with any potential new friends he may make or go to karaoke and what not. but look at the bigger picture here. Kaoru saw the error of her attitude towards him and feels extremely guilty for putting up with her. sure kaoru teased tatsuya because he couldn't make friends because he hast to take care of his mother, but that was because she was upset that he couldn't play with her anymore. sure she could have helped him lighten the load with his mother, but she didn't see the bigger picture till she lost her ability to walk permanently. also we've got to remember, middle schoolers and high schoolers are absolute selfish jerks during their ages, and we've all gone to that point atleast once in our lives. what I see here is a teen girl has gotten karma come her way and payed the price, but her childhood friend (though hesitant at first) stayed by her side in her toughest of times and has forgiven her as she began to suffer allot more even after her accident. while I do agree that he may never get to do the things he may want to, but that doesn't me he could with her! look up today, there are disabled people out there who wouldn't let their disability get the best of them. there are videos and pictures of the doing even the most extreme sports in the world.
