5 BEGINNER MISTAKES TO AVOID WHEN PLAYING GUARDIAN TALES!

Played for over a hundred days now. You're actually doing really great. Some advice I have: - Main Story is priority to get to the level cap as soon as you can. - Just gonna put this number here so you have a good idea how valuable hero crystals are, you're gonna need 2100 of them. Gonna be too long to explain it here but just keep in mind that the late game power spike is having 3 max limit break unique heroes (700 hero crystals each) because you can get a free max limit break using Training Room after that. - Don't awaken Damage Reduction nodes, they're not worth the awakening stones at all for the little value they have late game. - Lock all your nat 3*+ accessories, don't random evolve them because you need all that you can find to limit break them and for collection. Unfortunately, I can't help you with team building because I don't main dark element. But Beth and Yuze should be a good combo.

@@animajb6572 nat means natural. Nat 3 means that when you summon it, it starts as 3 stars. In this game, nat 1, nat 2, and nat 3 units all max out at 5 stars. The nat 3 units are the best ones to look after for.

Looks like you've already got plenty of advice in the comments, but since I'm here, I'll pitch in too. Get ready for an essay! This is partially from my own experience, and partially from various 'tips' I've been picking up through Reddit and anywhere else I can find them. 1.) Yuze has an interesting 'kit,' although it's weakened a bit by her 'charm' debuff only applying on the third hit in her attack string (she does two very short swipes and then a circular AOE, the AOE applies the debuff). She has good synergy with Beth and Karina, however, and if you do decide to try out a 'mono-dark' team as someone recommended below, Yuze fits in nicely alongside Beth and Karina. 2.) Resources become scarce, fast. Dumping all of your available resources into Beth is a good move since you can build a team around her. I would advise caution with regards to how much you invest in the rest of your team, however. Experience point requirements increase exponentially (It's like 70,000 to hit level 30, but around 2.8 million to hit the current cap at level 69), so experience points will become scarce before too long. You'll never feel bad for putting those points into Beth, but if you over-invest in a character you end up taking off of the team it can feel pretty bad. 3.) Heroes are more valuable than weapons in the very early goings. I mean the weapons are crazy, and some of the heroes become much more valuable with their weapons, but teams tend to be built around two or three Unique heroes at a time. If you find another three star hero that synergizes well with Beth, you'll have another character you can dump resources into once you finish Beth, and it'll be easier to figure out which 2 star characters to plug into your composition. A tip for "farming" the Gem currency: At some point in the story mode, the Arena and Colosseum PVP modes will become unlocked. Even if you don't do well in either game-mode, just achieving any ranking at all will provide you with a large Gem boost at the start of every week. The same thing goes for joining a guild. You can just find any random lazy guild to join and as long as some of the people in the guild are occasionally doing guild related activities, everyone else in the Guild will get some gems just for being there. A tip for "grinding" efficiently: For 100 Gems you can purchase 50 Stamina in the resource shop, once per day. You can then purchase another 50 Stamina for 150 Gems, once per day. This may not seem like a worthwhile investment of your resources very early on, but once your Arena, Colosseum, and Guild rewards start providing you with thousands of extra Gems at the start of every week, purchasing this stamina can really speed up some of the farming you'll end up needing to do at various points throughout the game. This is more valuable once you can farm the level 70 resource and evolution dungeons, but I mention it because an extra 100 stamina a day adds up to 70 extra runs in those rifts every week, and that can save some serious time when you reach the point where you're trying to get evolution shards or upgrade hammers.

I love this game so much, I’ve been playing daily since I edited Kairos’s sponsored video for it. I’m at endgame right now, and it’s SO good. One of the best stories I’ve ever come across in a mobile game, you can be competitive without spending a ton, and it’s pretty skill intensive in PVP?? Unreal. So underrated. Btw - I would recommend investing nearly all resources into nat 3s, minimal investment to nat 2s, so absolutely Beth for right now (she’s AMAZING anyways, but even if it was an older nat 3 it’d be worth it), and bide your time to pull other nat 3s while stockpiling resources and completing the story. Save hero reset stones to farm hero crystals with (long term goal), which is easy to do when you’re only invested in endgame units. ONE MORE THING- With that said, while farming stones to evolve your nat 3s, you’ll get more than enough nat 2 stones to fully evolve a team to 5 stars. So I’d farm up Beth, and use the mono team that you max alongside her (still with a minimal resource investment). I did that with Bari and absolutely crushed the story, then got to maxing out the other nat 3s I pulled while maxing her out.

Glad to see another creator getting hooked onto this game. Been loving it personally. Some tips to help progression early game and avoid wasting materials - As you are doing, only focus one Unique hero and feed your resources into that character to help you clear the story content quickly and easily - Contrary to your advice, I would absolutely buy the legend exclusive boxes in the shop first as they will help to guide you toward what element team you will be building first. Alongside completing the story as quickly as possible, your other main focus is building your first mono-element team. This is somewhat chosen for you based on the heroes you pull and the exclusives you pull. Units really do need their exclusive to really shine. - Early game, use the hero crystals to buy the hero stones for your main unique hero to boost them to 5* as soon as possible, and use the Star pieces to buy the evolution boxes for the element you are building. Getting your units to 5* will massively help and is vital to clearing the later content. - Use random evolution to evolve *ONLY* gear that is under lv.20 to both film out the collection book for gems and get some usable gear. Any gear (even 1* white) that is Lv.20 plus should be used for leveling your main gear. Look forward to seeing your progress through this game Childish!

My backseat gaming advice - Clear the story. Unlocking the Guardian HQ to start earning points asap, and getting Kama-zone to start getting a ton of awakening materials is super important. Raises your max hero level to help you clear harder rifts as well

Your starter team is almost same as mine, only diff is I used a tank instead of Marianne. I too have gone all in on Beth and have started to build Yuze with a view to a dark mono team. It seems to make sense for evolution farming.

Your mistake about the Legend Equipment box is not even a mistake at all. You can get the 100 magic metal back by going to inventory and exact button. I normally open all 5 Legend box and exact the weapons that I don't want.

@@dudindudin9038 Do you have a lock on the weapon? Go to inventory, select the weapon, there is a red lock icon on the upper left of the window. You need to unlock it before you extract it. You can extract even if they are equipped but you cannot extract if it is locked.

When I started this game, I didn't use a tank until W5. I highly recommend focusing on a tank unit if you have it before then, though. I highly recommend you focus on a mono element team (dark, in your case) to consolidate resources. I am glad you are enjoying the game

And the mono team thing is overrated and/or misunderstood. For most content a mono team most of the time will be at a disadvantage.example: a mono dark team won't have a good healer,only Peggy and karina.the mono thing just means focus on one unique heroes Evo stone dungeon at at a time, and the rare heros in the same msp will be 5* before the unique,thus giving you a "mono" team.the chain skills and the quality of the heroes is more important.

I've been playing for about 6+ months i think. These are my recommendations: commit to a mono dark team (add yuki or w.e his name is), buy all legendary ex weapons every month and just the 1 epic (totally worth it, I promise. Gotta get your regular units their ex weapons too!), unlock awakened skill ability on all units you use and focus the rest of your resources into your main unique hero (awakening is like 50% of your stats), dont spend hero stones on pieces to upgrade your units willy nilly (gonna need those to limit break at least 3 unique heroes to unlock the last tier in the training room), keep clearing the story 100% (there's sooooo many gems for summons and fun lil stories to enjoy). Those seem to be the tips I can think of off the rip. Good luck, Childish! The game literally just gets better as you progress.

Definitely. For the sake of an "efficient" grind, I've just worried about maxing at least all the regular units at 5* before going on to another set. I completed water and earth units first because that was just my luck of the draw with unqiues. Ive done all the light units too but still needa ton to 5* future princess. Now I'm working on dark. But that still leaves 3 whole other element types that I've barely touched. It seems that by the time you 5* all the rare units, your one unique hero should be about 4*. It's probably the worst grind of the game.

I already have marina and lilith, ive spent those free spin (40 of em') and use it for 20 hero spins and 20 equipment spins. A video i watched earlier said that "must get the Future knight since it was useful for High DPS and toughness" so i was wondering about leveling up my heroes using those things that u can buy in shop. Is it worth it use those shards to buy evo shards? *Edited. Oh yeah i forgot to mention that i got 5.4k of gems and spend em' to hero spins. Is that worth it or not? Much appreciated ur help.
