I'm getting some strong Silent Hill vibes here. Driving down a Highway at night and a little girl pops up infront of the vehicle causing a crash. Wake up hours later to notice that someone's missing. You can't leave the town because it is cut off from the rest of the world and the roads that lead into it no longer exist. The town is shrouded in a fog that can fold space to a point where you just return right back to where you started or you just keep walking in a fog that has no end until you give up and turn around. You're forced to enter a town that is cursed because it has an exceptionally dark history. A little girl that has Supernatural abilities. Even

24:35 - So we're getting 4 episodes of The Dark Pictures. First was on a ship. Second is the witches. Third has something to do with a crescent. Probably something magic-based again. Maybe an older setting. Fourth has something to do with a compass (for drawing circles). So maybe something to do with early science. We'd expect the supernatural there to be confusable for the researchers of the period. But then again, if it's something that does happen, isn't it "natural", even if not "normal"?

Too late, but I'd put money that the guy in the bar was Tanya's boyfriend. If the fire was that long ago, (looked 80s to me) it would explain why Dennis distrusted him. Bus driver was escorting them to the after life and the more they figure out/look into things, the more they'll feel their injuries from the crash/fire/death.
