Anytime I hear this, no matter the version or remix, I can't hold back the tears. Miles has passed away, but when that melancholic piano line starts to play, it's like he is speaking from the heaven. Telling all of us, that we will always be his children. We all are children of rave. Thanks for this masterpiece, which will live beyond time, for eternity. 🎵

Beautifully done. Interesting fact: "Children" was created by Miles as a slower track to conclude a night's set that would calm ravers prior to their driving home as a means to reduce car accident deaths. He said he hoped the track would help stop Italy's "Saturday night slaughter."

@@djtechnothrash6234 It had a big impact. The clubs I went in the early 90's played music which got progressively harder and faster as the night went on, often with tracks above 150bpm. The clubs then ended at 4am and the last track was usually the fastest BPM .Everyone was still pumped full of energy ( and other things ). Tracks like ' Children' were later included at the end and slowed the tempo of the club down, changing the mood of the clubbers to a more dreamy, reflective feeling. This meant that the clubbers left feeling more chilled than hyped up. Lots of similar style tracks followed, usually referred to as ' dream House' . I think this evolved into melodic trance , Ibiza style trance as the 90's progressed
