Ten years later, this is it. These wankers saying that these guitar parts aren't hard have NEVER picked a guitar up. The intro, verse, chorus, fills, solos ... Alexi was classically trained, from a family of musicians. Perhaps at regular speeds, some of his music isn't too complex. However, drunk, sped way up, and live -- nevermind both playing lead and handling vocals.. Alexi Laiho is the goat of singing, guitar playing frontmen. There's no one better who can sing and play what he plays.

There is a video that he explains how he does it, I forgot were I've seen it but he basically says that he sings really quietly when he plays hard licks like these, and gradually sings louder and louder until he can do both properly. RIP Alexi

I think that Alexi should just give half of the lead guitar parts to the rhythm guitarist in the live performances . In this song for example Alexi has to play the main melody while he is singing . And I think Alexi can still play all of his solos and maybe some of the other leads but at least 30 % of the leads through out some songs should be given to whoever they're rhythm guitarist is at the time .

This song is so heavy with the combination of the thrash and neoclassical elements, it has to rank up there with their more difficult ones to play, plus the song is structured like death metal in that every melodic line is different from the last one.
