Timo Komulainen I'm from the US, I play guitar and love alot of metal music from your part of the world. Stratovarius was one of the first European metal bands I listened to back in 1999 or 2000 and I still love them to this day. I LOVE Timo Kotipelto's "Waiting For the Dawn" cd. One of my favorites to throw into the stereo and jam along.

I live in Texas and amongst my metal head/musician friends, COB was pretty well known. Alexi Laiho was guitar god for a few years there, in all the magazines and doing clinics and guitar play guides. It seems you are maybe unaware of just how popular Bodom was across the pond. Cause they were pretty big here in America for a while. Not like super famous, but definitely selling out shows across the country.

Making it big in the US must have felt like a huge accomplishment by a group of guys from the relatively unknown Finish city of Espoo. I am from the States, and i thought the fact they were from Finland made them that much more interesting....to the point where I've seen them on nearly every US tour.
