My father lived in 204 Beaufort st, him and 3 brothers were not evacuated till 1943, my dad said after one bombing raids they went into the street the next day , my dad was about 7 and his brother was 6 , dad said there were bodies lined up on the streets that were pulled out of the bombed houses, my dad's brother asked him if they were asleep my father said to him know they are dead, his brother did not understand and asked why can't we get them up😢 eventually my dad and his brother went to Northwich on evacuation RIP daddy you are now a peace and the memory of trauma is gone ❤

Did u learn anything? How lucky we in the United States haven't had to live through something like that. Days and days of attacks. Think how that would affect our life styles today.

It was just not Liverpool that got bombed the nearby town of Widnes also got bombed as well, only 18 people got killed No 18 Hale Road Widnes took a direct hit destroying the house completely the people in that house where my great grandfathers friends all 4 of them inside the house where, killed, Windermere Avenue widnes took a direct hit from a parachute mine killing 12 people and 2 houses on Milton road widnes took a direct hit killing 4 people and the ICI Lab widnes was also hit
