当時原作者の平井和正さんがこのアニメの原作無視の無惨な脚本に激怒していましたが、このキース・エマーソンの楽曲には手放しに絶賛されていたことを思い出します。 今はもう亡き人である平井和正さんにこの素敵なバージョンを聴いてもらいたかったな。

I love all of Keith Emerson's music, and in a most unexpected way, this is the first time I've heard any of his songs reinterpreted as a straightforward Jazz song despite the fact that he himself was a Jazz-purist and incorporated a lot of its influence into his songwriting. Thank you for this.
