Why is it so hard to find a video of the doll being constructed step-by-step??? They made tens of these things for the TV show, so clearly by this point the design has been standardized; WHERE ARE THE BLUEPRINTS? I realize that making a movie-accurate replica would be prohibitively expensive for most people. But you're seriously telling me not a single DIY robotics enthusiast has succeeded yet? Building the head wouldn't be impossible, in the end it's just servos and easy to build mechanisms. The hard part is the body, and getting those fluid movements. Of course, since it's a movie doll, no one will ever give you the original plans.
