I’m wondering… since this is Mel’s show, why didn’t she come on with any of her friends? Why start your show with only your husband’s friends?? Why not have Dawn and Lauryn and Chanita on as regular cast mates? And the cute brown skin woman from college that watched her kids. Why didn’t she have them on? From the beginning. Did all of her friends decline and not want to be on reality TV? Everyone she has brought on that were her associates didn’t really last (Destiny, Tiffany, Keke). Maybe if she’d brought her real friends on from the beginning, the dynamic would be different and it wouldn’t have looked like Mel against the world. However, if she’s like me, I value my close relationships and try to keep them as drama free as possible. Maybe that’s it.

It's in the beginning, Destiny stated she had to pick a bone with Heavenly for saying why everyone giving Des money. She stated Mel was a good friend and they supported each other. She also said that Mel didn't give her 6,000 but did give her a 1,000 without even asking. That made her chocked up and called Mel and left a message saying thank u etc. She said again Mel was a really good friend but a good friend don't tell what they did for you. She said she when Mel was having problems with her car and her credit was bad she rented a car for her under her name. She didn't state she paid for her car rental. Smh all Melody did was prove exactly what Destiny stated. To me Mel didn't listen and allowed these people to put things in the mix. Destiny doesn't need to respond because Mel kinda played herself a little. She didn't say Mel was broke and I believe she didn't want to put the bankruptcy out there. However, Mel did that herself.
