Hello Mike and Sandra - It was freezing in Southern Arizona this week and most everything was covered in snow above 3000 feet in elevation. Much of Southern Arizona is above 3000 feet and there are mountains up to 10,000 feet. There are a lot of mountains. Yes, it was warmer a week ago, even saw 80 degrees. I am sure that Kristen will update you. Enjoyed your video today and glad to see you are doing your part to help control the COVID spread. Always enjoy your videos, haven’t commented in a while, life is hectic. I also put butter, Worchester, sugar hot sauce, minced garlic, a can of undiluted tomato soup and other stuff. I make a stock pot full with 3lbs burger, 1lb sausage and 9 cans beans. That Chili looked absolutely delicious, one of my most absolute fav camping meals. Another traditional fav is for breakfast and it is simply fried spam that has been chunked cut into small squares and set aside. Then pour into a pan a bag of Potatoes O'Brien, brown them, add the spam cubes and mix well. Once hot and mixed well, serve up. good with Ketchup or a topping of your choice. My grandparents and great grandparents came from Quebec and Montreal and then they came to New York . Sooooooo I didn’t learn how to speak English and till I went to kindergarten when I was five and the great thing about it is I went to a half French and half English classes in our School it was geared to the French community. So we had half a day in French and then we had half a day in English so I speak total fluid French and there’s a couple words I didn’t understand what you said but you also spoke very quickly. It’s nice to hear somebody’s don’t use in our language

Something I always add to a chili is garlic, lots of it. And rice works nicely with it, if you want to stretch the chili. I usually rinse the tomato cans with water and get a rather wet chili, so adding some rice soaks up the water and you can cook it with the chili, instead of using a seperate pot.
