QUESTION: To do the riff Where exactly on fretboard do you place your finger? Do you place the index finger on the fret wire of 9th fret to start or on the string pressing it into fret wire????

In the space just in front of the 9th fret then move down a space at a time 😉

@@287monty1 Yes, but are you actually pressing with index finger on the space or the fret or the string? You can see, I am unclear. I have been learning & practicing on my own for 1 year now. Being taught by KZbin tutorials I have never been able to do a riff & very little finger-picking

Hi Taleen - you can play it in any key (as you can any song of course) just transpose the chords - so if you want to go down from this song's key then each chord should be dropped by the same amount, so for one full tone the A goes down to G, A7 goes to G7 D goes to C and C goes to Bb - hope that helps :)
