Hey Christopher buddy, just one more thing, do you think that Ambient music could be used as a form of sound therapy??? And if so I am not saying clinical but I have exaggerated startle response and some family members have post traumatic syndrome etc. Hopefully sound therapy will be a thing in the future, And thump thump thump of bass drums are particularly unnerving to a certain friend.

Last night I watched three of your videos in a row on my big screen and enjoyed it just as much as a good netflix show. I love the long-form format. Would love some insight on your mixing process...why the same instrument rack on your synths all the time with those same EQ settings? What's the advantage of the synth busses and how best to use them in the context of ambient music? Any tips and tricks on creating a sonic depth of field that is so prevalent in this genre? @@s1gns0fl1fe Hi again. I purchased your template but I am having a serious issue with it. Opening up the project seems to "deauthorize" the software completely, thus deactivating saving and export. Keep in mind that I have a fully, legally registered version of Ableton. While the "about" panel properly displays my serial and email adress saying it's registered, the preference panel asks me to register online and when I do, it doesn't work. Opening up another project fixes the issue, so it's definitely the template that's messing up my registration. Do you have any idea why that might be and how I could fix this ? Also, when opening the project, a window pops up saying the device "Echo" can't be used sicne I'm on Ableton 11. I don't know if there's a connexion, since the template since to have been made on Ableton 10? Thank you

@@clebs1261 That is very strange! I just downloaded a new copy of the Utility template myself to test this (I'm on Ableton 11 suite) and I didn't get any authorization message. There's nothing in the template that's not stock Ableton. Did you try restarting your computer? Sometimes that fixes weird Ableton issues. You can also try redownloading the template from bandcamp. If all else fails, we'd be happy to provide you with a refund. Just send us an email! [e-mail]

Lower the voice count and go into draft mode! Watch out for unison too - it taxes the CPU very quickly. Cheers!

It's very easy to use and gets good results. There are things I can do in Vital that I cannot do in any other synth! Definitely recommend watching some of the Vital tutorials on my channel if you're interested in learning more. Cheers!

I stand behind everything Martin creates. He’s a total pro. There are obvious sonic advantages of hardware over software but ultimately it comes down to workflow and usability. Start simple and work your way up!
