Tbh, I watch you for the visual triggers while you’re doing personal attention, not even just the personal attention. The way you mess with objects close to the camera and affect the focus and zoom of the lens, face touching, lights. I watch asmr to relax, and you’re one of the few people that actually triggers tingles from the visual stuff. You cover more triggers than you give yourself credit for.

My wife has a grand piano, and the piano being tuned is one of my specific triggers. If you have never heard a piano tuner work, they start at one end of the keyboard and work key by key to the other. They will strike a key multiple times as they adjust the tuning pins... you get a nice blend of the note, plus the mechanical sounds of the tools. Good tuners get into a nice "flow" as the work down the keyboard, so there is also an element of anticipation as they move from key to key. I find it SO dang soothing it usually puts me half asleep. Our tuner also usually plays for 15-20 minutes after he finishes, so we always get a little private house concert at the end. LOVE your channel... keep on keepin' on. Cheers.

I needed to say this, even if you don’t see it. Your ASMR is my safe space - it doesn’t matter if your audio isn’t “perfect” because for me it is. One of my colleagues - in her retirement speech - made a joke about, after 30 years of teaching, she was relieved to know no one had “caught her out”. She said before imposter syndrome was a common phrase she just thought of herself as a fake teacher. She is by far on of the best teachers I know. I’ve recently just finished my second year of teaching and had results for my first exam classes. My other colleagues have showered me with praise for these results. I needed that because all I saw was the negatives (there weren’t really any). Please know that to me, your content is perfect. The “samey” stuff is a safety for me. I know you will be the right amount of quiet & stimulation and gentleness I need. I love your content & your vibe dearly. Keep exploring & going back to your roots. I’m along for the ride. Your ASMR is amazing! You’ve been my favorite ASMRtist for years, and I didn’t realize you’d been at this since 2013! Speaking of really specific triggers - a few years ago in one of your “focus on me/follow the pen” videos, you did this flowy hand movement thing while saying “focus, focus, focus, stop.” I don’t know what it is about it, but that stops my racing thoughts like nothing else! If you ever find yourself in the mood to make another “focus on me/follow this” video, would you consider doing more of that?

You bring to your videos a very relaxed and close ambience that really soothes the soul no matter what the video topic or main trigger is. Specially in stressfull situations your videos are great so snap out of anxiety or any type of uneasy feelings. For me that's enough to keep me visiting the channel again and again. 7:38 Imperfections are the most important part of what makes everyone unique. The perfections you're talking about in others might be their Imperfections which they're insecure about. What I say might sound cliche (it is), but you're a person whose personality, style and sound made people followers of yours. Being a perfectionist is also great if you can control it. Musicians are often stuck in the same mindset. The thing with ASMR is that even complete silence or white noise is appreciated in the videos. 'Softlygaloshes' often does "Tingle Breaks" where you reset your ASMR reflex for a couple of seconds.

Funny how i noticed that, some Asmrtists usually go around 1 specific trigger. Its not that bad if you think about it. It worked for that channel, so it becomes "Their thing" so if you are on a specific mood, or just want to listen to a specific trigger, you will know where to go to get that one specific trigger.
