I think one of the reasons most team captains play support is cause shot calling is a whole thing in pro dotes and its more convenient if cores can focus on their heroes and supports can focus on the map. Let cores call out targets in fights but let supports call out team movement and rotations. I think a good shot caller support would have tied the whole team together.

but to be fair he got put on a hero he doesn't play a lot and also doesn't really fit his playstyle (farming + jumping in heroes) the moment they met actual competitors (jump from some archon shitters to literal pros), i think it would've been massively different if the night stalker game against lebron was the first game, that would've got him locked in and sharp faster
