I semi recently got into this game and I really enjoy it despite being bad at it. Instant accels, wonky drags that look like they’re fluttering a leaf at you, and feints kick my ass from level 200s. I recently upped my sensitivity and noticed I land hits with my accels and drags more often now.

A lot of the people who are always dragging and accelerating are playing in third person, too

@@EpicBrew That makes sense. I have noticed you can pull extreme swing manips without missing in third person. I would think that comes at the cost of your own defense a bit though.

Third person is def easier for big team modes

Use the sides of your monitor to find the general area where your attack will be active on startup

I like to run 2-2-1 for my light build since only maul and polehammer spike to the head can get a one shot on it. Strange how all my extra points end up in my throwable addiction, I wonder who I can blame for that one :)

Could you help me with a question? When I want to close on someone to get in range for a stab or a slash, then I "run". But it seems to me, that sometimes they are faster than just "running" towards me. Do I need to tap shift at the exact time as the stab/slash is starting? Also saw, that sometimes the longsword seems longer than the alt grip bardiche and so I am killed several times. I still learn, could be that, but still. You have to start you wind up your attack earlier so that if the enemy runs towards you, your swing will be released just when its possible to reach

And ofc the more armor you have the slower you run

If you play with high fow then it creates this fish eye effect and it can distort the distances little bit.

Remember! If you are winding up for a strike, you can always stop it and parry enemy strike. So you can always try to launch a strike and then see if the enemy is doing something. If you see that they will hit you before your srtike releases. Then you just parry mid your strike. Hopefully you understand
