I'm curious about the tax system for vehicle in Phil. In my country (Indonesia) this bike costs 90K USD for the R1M version, 40-60 K USD for older models. Every year we have to pay vehicle tax, in R1's case it would cost us at least 1000 USD every year. Thank you my corrupt nation.

Whether brand-new or used, purchased or donated, the imported vehicle is subject to 40% Customs duty, 10% VAT and Ad Valorem Tax from 15% to 100% depending on its piston displacement. If you're pointing out the luxury vehicle or exotic you will pay double as the price of the vehicle let say 5M USD for the car + 5M USD for tax, again this is what I know. I'm not working with tax system here in Phil.

@@choyyyyy hindi ko pa sya na "long" ride na as in malayo. Usually pag inikot tong isla is 120km, manageable naman walang masakit kapag twisties kasi galaw ka nang galaw. Kapag puro straight dun mo mararamdaman sa lower back lalo na't wala tong cruise control.
