Hey thanks for the shout out! It is always nice to hear our hard work is appreciated and we will let Christian know about your experience with him. Great work on the video too, keep at it! Those Jellyfish are not easy to keep and it looks like your doing a fine job. -Robert @ MD

Robert ~ Christian was paramount in helping me with the chiller. He went above and beyond and made sure it arrived in time, as the tank was getting dangerously warm. The Jellyfish are really healthy and I attest this to great breeding and care from Jellyfish Art and lots of love by us. I believe, if you get your Jellyfish from a reputable breeder and you have the support which is required from the breeder, then it really is not that difficult. Again, thanks for employing such great people and for offering an incredible product an affordable price. ~ Julie

Cringe moments when you set the pliers on the tank and used the top as a work platform. Just a worried reef-keeper here. Awesome video! Love the jellyfish and i appreciate it being about a chiller, quite rare finding good videos on smaller chillers. Much love from the Philippines.

Hi Brent.. Great eye on the pliers. The top was pretty firm in place (total coverage), but I totally get you. Easy to have accidents. It's a great chiller, no issues thus far. Love back to you from New York!

Great video!!! I was wondering if you could update us on the chiller? I was looking to get this unit due to not enough space for gear and while doing research I found mixed reviews, I would really appreciate it!!

Hey Miquel... Through my experience with the chiller (a little over a year) - I absolutely loved it and had no issues. The issues that I have seen from people I know who used the chiller, they outfitted it with smaller tubing, didn't have it placed in an optimal setting and didn't blow air in it every few days. Bottom line, you will get salt buildup and dirt in the motor. I did maintenance and it ran as good out of the box as it did a year later. I can tell you, for a 15 gallon, it was perfect. Some say, not great for much more, I cannot speak to that. Good luck and be sure to let me know. ALSO, CS for the chiller is pretty good and Marine Depot is awesome if you purchase from them.

do you think its possible to get to 65f? i want to buy this for my axolotl but im not sure if its enogh to keep 65 all the time
@babajulovesyou4 жыл бұрын
Hi Zolty - YES... I kept my babies at 68f -- That was their favorite temp. 65 would not have been an issue... Though, this is not for a large tank. LOVE and miss my axolotl's. SO awesome.

Hope you are staying safe! How is this set up going currently? I got one recently and can only manage to cool down a 10g tank around 1.5C. I'm using a 220lph pump at half power. Tank is idling at 31C. Any tips? TIA
@babajulovesyou4 жыл бұрын
Hi Kuma, are you using their tubing, pump, etc? I bought the add on package and had no issues. It makes NO sense that you are not getting it to cool down. I kept mine at 20c (68f) - I would call customer support. It's a one man show at chill solutions. Perhaps it is faulty?
@elo09154 жыл бұрын
@@babajulovesyou thanks for the reply. No I'm not using their kit. The pump is incompatible in my area (singapore UK plug 240v). I'll give them a buzz to see what is up.
@babajulovesyou4 жыл бұрын
@@elo0915 are you able to find a pump that would work with their system? Same specifications? I know others have modified and used different specs, but... I have also seen issues.
@elo09154 жыл бұрын
@@babajulovesyou yes I did the one they use is Rio 180 (180 lph). I got a 220 lph pump and just ran it slower. So far not getting the result I expected :(. I've ran it at full, half and minimum power results didn't change much. Just sent them an email hopefully they'll get back to me.

If you have very high humidity and/or no airflow around the unit it will not be as effective.

I just realized you can incorporate this into a water cooling computer to cool the gpu and cpu.

Recently picked one up and I’m pretty disappointed. The aquarium cooling fan I have , cooled the water just the same for the fraction of the cost. I currently have a 28 gallon JBJ nano tank.
